Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

It is.
"Take care'uh yourself." She says, waving it off as she tosses another coin at the bartender.

"So... the contract I copied wasn't meant for those... other creatures?"

 

It slides over the coin the sailor threw at it earlier, leaving.

 

"Other creatures?" Artemis asks.

 

"I guess not..." Alice says. "Do you remember the list? I'm sure I can find these things eventually."

The outside seems a bit louder than it was going in, the fishermen having sold their catch.

 

"I don't, but they said it was next to the first note they left you." Artemis says.

 

Keeping his disguise, the thing heads in what they assume is northwest.

 

Alice nods, heading straight for the community center.

The forest is off to the side, a huge fortified city standing in the direction it chose to go.

 

It decides to head in the direction of the forest.

 

Artemis stays behind with Sgavrinn.


The community centre seems as broken down as ever.

 

Alice heads straight for the contract, looking at the list of requests.

It feels watched, many things shifting about in the treetops.

 

It explores anyways, looking around to see what there is.

 

There appears to be requests for various, almost random items Alice could probably find around the town and the nearby area: berries, flowers, vegetables and fruits. The first set seems to ask for a parsnip, a potato, a carrot and a green bean.

 

There's a few small villages, and a couple larger fortified towns.

Alice takes note of the list, then heads under her house and checks what's there.

 

There appears to be some rather large parsnips, potatoes and carrots, luckily, as well as a small sprout with a green bean on it; amongst other sprouts in the ground.

 

The thing investigates the nearest small village.

 

Alice heads back up to Artemis.
"Did the fae say anything about the garden underneath my house?"

Everyone seems to be asleep, windows covered and doors locked.

 

"No." Artemis says, shaking her head.

 

"I don't think it's a coincidence that the required materials are being grown underneath my house. Would you mind going back and asking if providing those ingreedients is acceptable?"

 

"They probably are if they asked for them. Maybe the last person who lived here was also chosen?" Artemis asks.

 

"I'll provide them but leave a note asking about it. I'm still new to customs and culture over here. At least it's not all alloy edges and death rays over here..." She says, heading back down.


Xlentia, a bit warm for comfort, opts to make a water landing as she looks around for Gaia.
