Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Gah."
I say to myself.
"The hell is this?"
I say to the others, drawing my sword.

 

I stay silent, but cast a spell that causes another of those blue flowers to sprout beside you. "Howdy, this is a transmission coming in from your superior. Desist immediately in order for the transmission to be fully received."

 

"1, I have no official superior. All who would be are dead. 2, I'm pretty sure the transmission can be received without me stopping, whatever you want me to stop doing."
I say to the flower.

 

"True. Anyways, tell Artemis to release Leo from the void of pain and suffering, since he did nothing wrong."

 

The dragon gives off a kind of purr, enjoying the attention.

"Astounding..." They trail off for a minute, before regaining their focus. "Yes, she's rather stubborn." The dragon growls, shaking her head. "We didn't actually summon her. She fled here after her den in Aurorius was raided, her parents slaughtered." The snowy dragon interrupts with a whimper. "Her kind is hunted relentlessly by the few strong enough to fight them for their souls. If you were to take her soul, you'd be able to shapeshift as well, which is considered a valuable asset. Not to mention a shapeshifting dragon's soul can be sold at an immensely high price."

 

"Hey, Artemis!"
I attempt to yell over the spikes (because I'm assuming they're taller than me).
"This blue flower that I'm pretty sure is Drake's is asking a favor of you! He asks of you 'to release Leo from the void of pain and suffering' because he supposedly didn't do anything wrong!"

 

"I've always hated the corrupt..." That seem to strike a nerve with me.

I hold out my other claw again, this time towards the snowy dragon.

"Are there still more of her kind?"

 

The dragon sniffs the claw curiously, then quickly bats at it.

"Not that we know of... It's possible."

 

I barely seem to flinch, the hole in my hand filling in with darkness as soon as the dagger leaves.

"Need I remind you that I'm capable of taking you back the the grave if I feel so inclined too, as well as Artemis." I say calmly.

Artemis murmurs from her tree, yet remains asleep. A few forest spirits float over to me, curious.

 

I try to get my claw closer, slowly and carefully.

"I imagine you get people looking to take her coming here, then. Poor thing... Reminds me of an old friend."

I roll the red dragon on its back using my tail whilst continuing to scratch the other dragon's back.

 

The spikes retract and the flower explodes into darkness.

OOC: Just putting that there.

 

I walk over to AJ and say to him,
"Will Artemis be mad if I wake her up? It's kind of important."

 

Artemis remains asleep against her tree, barely moving from her unconsciousness.

OOC: Whoops, must've missed it.

"I don't think you should try and shift her from her sleep," I say, "If you do, bad things might happen."

 

"And... What happened to your friend?"

The snowy dragon had been flickering from a wolf pup back to a dragon. She stops switching and studies you, before relaxing a bit.

The red dragon nips at your tail, whilst trying to grasp it with it's paws.

The black dragon just keeps purring, staring up at you.

 

"So I guess I play the waiting game. Eh, Drake's poison, not mine."

 

"I don't really care for that guy too much," I say, "He's dead."

A few forest spirits float towards you, inspecting you curiously and humming.

 

This is one of the biggest threads on the Wynncraft forums ever

 

"Correction: Leo's poison." A nearby flower echoes, which you just realized was spying on the trio.

 

I notice I still have my sword drawn, and I put it away, careful to not hit any spirits.
"Apparently not completely. He just sent me a message, actually."

 

I smile at the black dragon briefly.
I keep my tail shaking just enough so the red dragon can't get a grip on it.
I try to scratch the snowy dragon's back.

"My friend? Well... see the locket I'm wearing? The one with the blue cracked crystal?"
I sigh, glancing at the hatchlings to try and cheer myself up.
"He's dead."
