Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Ah. Well, thanks for telling me."

 

He carefully eats around Artemis' hand, licking the frosting off his snout as he heads back through the portal, humming happily.

"No problem."

 

Artemis just smiles as he watches Sgavrinn leave, wiping her hands clean.

 

There's not much to wipe off; Sgavrinn ate every bit he could.
Sapphire smiles.
"It's so cute how you bonded."

 

"Well, I sort of have an affinity with animals." Artemis says, smiling.

 

"Still cute." Sapphire chuckles.

 

"I feel like I need to look after him too since Ihra isn't around anymore either." Artemis says.

 

"Doesn't Myria help too?"

 

"Yeah, Mother's been a massive help with him whilst I've been away on adventures." Artemis says happily.

 

I smile, exploring the library to read some books.

Something, suddenly very bored, makes their way out of the Shadow Realm, and to the portal room in the Void Palace.

 

"Well, I'm going to go check on Ali. See you later, Artemis! And sorry we missed your birthday, Aj!"

Forty floors of distraction...


There's nobody there to greet them, hold Muffy.

 

"It's fine, this happened!" I say happily.

 

She waves happily as she leaves.

 

Artemis and I wave back, smiling.

 

The thing passes by Muffy, giving a glace, but nothing else, and enters the portal, sprouting wings and heading for the storm over the ocean.

 

Later, Sgavrinn links with Artemis.
"Are you going to come over for tea?"

A four-winged beast watches them from above.

 

They slowly travel towards the beast, curious.

 

The beast seems to keep some distance, a rider now standing on top of its head holding a lance.
"Why do you come here?" She asks in a demanding tone.

 

"Curiosity. Bordom. A bitter-sweet mix of the two, if you will."
The thing answers, changing form often, but always keeping wings.

 

She looks at you with cold eyes.
"...What are you?"
