Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"No, but I just worry that I won't wake up for another few thousand years. That's how I got mind controlled in the first place."

 

"Huh. I'd be scared too, honestly."

 

"The thing that really worries me... is why he didn't send his own forces to try and stop your group from freeing me of his control. Every casualty was my own, but he had to know it wouldn't be enough."

 

"Deal." I say.

 

"...Maybe he just felt confident in what you guys could do?"

 

The dragon only sees the duo evading attacks, though you and Stephanie can see an odd haze around the broom.
"You're cloaked to roughly fifty planes of existence. I'd still rather you make it quick."

"I hope..." She thinks, sighing.
"...But, let's get that off my mind. There's a little party I'm supposed to go to soon."

 

Stephanie and I hastily fly off toward a cave in a mountain not too far from the field, the dragon distracted.

 

Sapphire keeps an eye on the dragon and the illusion, though she moves towards the cave.

 

The cave is quite far away relative to Sapphire, though the dragon seems rather distracted; rage probably dulling its sense of reason.

 

Sapphire sends a (cloaked) clone to go trail you and Stephanie as she keeps the dragon distracted.

 

Once the clone reaches the cave, it finds Stephanie watching the dragon while I check over the eggs, my eyes glowing.

 

Sapphire dispells the clone as she tries to keep the dragon relativey stationary.
"Do you have an ETA?"

 

No response.

 

Sighing, Sapphire just goes back to distracting while leaving a telepathic link open.

 

Eventually, Stephanie and I fly back down.

"Alright, we've checked the eggs." I say.

 

"I'm going to check for myself. I suggest you go back to the Shadow Realm before Xlentia gets tired of waiting and lays down on something."

 

"Why did Xlentia want to see me again?" I ask.

 

"I dunno, go find out."

 

I glance at Stephanie before the pair of us disappear, returning to the Realm of Shadows.

 

Sapphire goes and checks the eggs herself, making sure they're okay.


Once you get there, Xlentia isn't there but Emerald is.
