"I reached out to him, he's probably hunting. Or getting his ass handed to him."


"You're not hurt though, right? I don't know what happened to you in there."

Xlentia catches it, glancing over.
"Oh, thanks!" She says happily, taking the coin and heading back towards her chambers.

 

"No problem!"
Crystal says, putting the earth back and following her.

 

"You seriously think he can fight a dragon? I've half thought about going to where he is to watch, but I don't want to get hurt in the crossfire," Shadow Stephanie says, "I could probably teleport you to him if you wanted, actually." Shadow Stephanie says.


"I don't think so." Louis says.

 

"He has before, so yeah. Go ahead and teleport me if you can."


"Good... I don't know why you just passed out. That was just the library."

"What've you been up to, sweetheart?"

 

After a short moment, Sapphire is teleported to a windy field, a large electric dragon flying overhead, chasing what looks like Stephanie and I on a broom.


"That was...unreal." Louis says.

 

"Flyin' around with Linoa, exploring and search for a relic."
Crystal smiles.
"You?"

 

Sapphire cloaks and watches, keeping an eye on the dragon.


"What do you mean?" Alice asks, flustered. "I don't know how else to show you that I really do come from a whole other place..."

"Same stuff. Did you find any shiny things on your adventures?"

 

The dragon seems to charge up massive strikes of lightning to try and hit Stephanie and I with while the pair of us try to avoid them, flying around and dodging quickly.

 

Sapphire uses a remote tether to try and link with the dragon.
"E-excuse me? What's wrong?" She asks, using a slightly filtered voice.

 

The dragon doesn't respond, though it seems focused on attacking Stephanie and I.

 

Now closer, Sapphire links with you again.
"What did you do to piss it off?"

 

"We were trying to check its eggs to make sure it and it's young were healthy and it sort of got pissed off." I say.

 

"What were you actually trying to do?" Sapphire asks, cross.

 

"Trying to check the eggs to make sure the young of an endangered species are healthy?" I repeat.

 

"I somehow doubt that, but that explains why it's so pissed off. I've got an idea, okay? I'm going to make an illusion of you two running around and fully cloak you so you can finish. But, if you do anything other than check the health of her eggs, I'm lightning-rodding her attacks straight to you. Deal?"

 

"No, sorry. All we really found was this big dog and a force field around an island. We, uhh, couldn't get through the force field."

 

"That sounds like a fun little trip. I don't know why you're apologizing, though. It's not like I'm charging a fee to use my palace."

 

"Well, I didn't bring anything back for you, and I know it's kind of boring for you to just be around here without anything to do."

 

"Yeah, but don't worry about not having anything to show. Things seem dreadfully long since you freed me, but that may because it's hard to go back to sleep after you've been unconscious for a few thousand years."

 

"Is that how sleep works?"
