Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Alice nods.
"Yes, her. I would say that Lady Tenebrae could do the same, but that would only matter to shadows."

 

"Tenebrae...right, the goddess of your people," Louis says, "I sometimes find it hard to have faith with all of these gods and goddesses."

 

"I want to show you something from my home. I want you to put all doubts aside, and I want you to put all your fears behind you. This will not harm you in any way... but I want to bring you in the presence of the goddess I used to follow... Please." Alice begs.

 

Louis thinks for a while.

"I trust you, as a resident of this town, Alice." Louis says, nodding.

 

"Thank you so much... Will you please meet me in front of my house in two hours?" She asks.

 

"Very well, I shall." Louis says, going back to tending his plants.

 

Alice heads back home.

Two hours later, she reappears along with a portal and Emerald, still with all her tomes.

 

Alice can see Louis approaching along the pathway to her home.

 

Alice walks up to meet him halfway.
"Thanks again for coming... I brought the goddess' advisor with us so she can make sure nothing goes awry."
"I'm still your sister, Alice!" Emerald snaps from afar.
"Okay, so nothing can go awry." She admits.

 

"This is quite a new experience for me." Louis says, a little confused.

 

"I suppose I can try to brief you on things... I used to belong to a race called draconians. They look like humanoid dragons, but treat planets much closer to a guardian. Each has an element, and that gives them guardian-like powers... or beyond, in some cases. I figured you might want to look at the greatest library you will ever see first, since that might help put the goddess' grandeur into perspective." Alice explains as she walks towards the portal, Emerald holding it open.

 

"I'm sorry, say again?" Louis asks, confused as he heads toward the portal.

 

"Okay... race of humanoid dragons are called draconians."
Pause.
"Each has an element, kind of like guardians."
Pause.
"Can you understand that much?" Alice asks.

 

"Ughh...yes. So you're like fire guardians but with different elements?" Louis asks, trying to understand.

 

"Correct." Alice nods, stopping him just before the portal.

"Now, when you step through, don't make loud noises, okay?" She says, starting to enter.

 

Crystal thinks for a few moments.
"...Cause she's nice? I dunno. Is there something wrong with that?"
Crystal asked, curious.

 

"I'll be as silent as a stone." Louis says, stepping through the portal after Alice.

 

He steps out looking into the Void Palace library.
"I'm going to empower you, so you don't get lost." She whispers.

"There's nothing wrong, it's just... you're the only one that does it. That kind of makes everyone else take notice."

 

Louis just stands there, silent, looking around. Something tells Alice his silence isn't due to his vow, however.

 

Alice quickly empowers him and directs her strength to regulating his bodily functions.
"Hey, hey, hey. No dying."
