Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Light it on fire." Linoa suggests, handing Crystal a lighter.

 

"Don't worry, I've got this."
Crystal smiles, shifting to a point of almost opening the bottle.
"I don't know if you want to stand back or not."

 

"I know what that'll do. It's really pretty, and I mess around with them a lot."

 

There's a knock at Alice's door.

 

Alice takes a minute to open it, peeking out around the door as an arm stretches back into the kitchen.

 

There's a package on Alice's doorstep, with Alice's name on a tag attached to it.

 

Curious, Alice sits on her porch and opens it.

 

"Seems nice. Well, I guess I get to see for myself."
Crystal opens the vial, shifting inside a bit and making a small fire inside.

 

Inside are numerous boxes of various, exotic teas; some of them in a different language. There appears to be a note atop the boxes:
"Hey Alice,

I thought I'd give you something special to go with the lovely views of your home. I know you like tea, so I hope you like these!

Stephanie,
Queen of the Shadows."

 

The lighter gets put out, and a small ball of electricity crackles and glows over the vial, giving off a pleasant warmth.

Alice takes them inside, storing the boxes before grabbing a parasol and looking for Louis.

 

"Woah."
Crystal looks at the vial, thinking and enjoying it for a bit.
"What's your favorite mix that you've made?"

 

Alice finds Louis watering the flowers in his garden. His house appears to be quite a bit larger than everyone else's.

 

Alice knocks on the fence.
"Morning."

"It's a variation of that one. I won't have you make it, since it uses some ingreedients I barely have, but it's essentially a magic firework."

 

"Sounds cool!"
Crystal smiles.

 

"I'll show you sometime if I ever find more of the ingreedient." Linoa says.

 

"Thanks!"
Crystal looks around, seeing what else there is around the cave.

 

Books, vials, pet food, and a cat tower. Linoa doesn't seem to sleep here.

 

"You said this was your home?"
Crystal goes to the shelf, putting the original bottles back, but keeping the mix.

 

"Yes. Mine and Muffy's."

 

"So... where do you sleep?"
