Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Woah."
Crystal says, looking at the shelves.

 

"What did you do to scare her?" Gail asks.

 

Tons of vials and books line the shelves.

"I chased after her because I thought she was disrupting my investigation."

 

"Really? I guess that could spook her..." Gail says, sounding a little confused.

 

"It did, so I'm trying to make up for it. I might just ask Katie what water guardians like... maybe a sea serpent as a pet?" Alice trails off.

 

"I don't know much about water guardian's tastes." Gail says, shrugging.

 

"I'll ask a water guardian, then. Thanks, Gail!" Alice says happily, jogging off.

 

"See you!" Gail says, waving before going back inside.

 

"So, uhh,"
Crystal starts, turning towards Linoa.
"Did you have anything you wanted to try in particular?"

 

Alice heads back to the teacup and parasol, hoping Holly will show herself.

"Not really, just use caution. Ask me before you mix things."

 

Crystal hastily grabs two random vials, holding the up to look at them.

 

Both are a milky white.

 

Putting one of them back, Crystal reaches for another of a different color.

 

The cup and parasol are as Alice left them, and Holly doesn't appear to be anywhere near.

 

Alice etches a peace symbol on a rock and carefully sets it in the water.

He grabs an orangish one.

 

Crystal turns, holding them and facing Linoa for confirmation.

 

"Yeah, those are fun. Don't put your face over it." Linoa says, offering a third, empty vial.

 

Unfortunately the river carries the rock away, the rock tumbling along the bottom.

 

"Okay."
Crystal says, excited, sprouting a new arm to grab the empty vial, then putting the first two over the empty on, about to pour both in.
"So, like this?"

 

Alice shrugs, leaving and spending the day at home, leaving a curious Sgavrinn unattended as he goes to the river and takes a small drink.

"Yes, but preferably over the cauldron."
