"Sure, that'd be really cool!"
Crystal smiles, but looks outwards.
"...once we get back, though."

 

"They're pretty old, I think."

 

"Forest guardians have the longest lifespan of all the guardians, and they have a closer connection to Mother Gaia," Gail says, "It's no wonder they're so old."

 

"Of course."

 

Crystal just looks out towards the land, shifting his eyes to his body the underside of the staff to do so.

 

"Figures why the shadow king took one in as a love partner..." Alice thinks.

Three hours, maybe.

 

Crystal seems to continue fooling around, occasionally looking at Linoa.

 

She's looking at the water below, though it may just be she fell asleep with her eyes open.

 

Crystal eventually just goes back to fooling around.

 

"That's sad..." Gail says sympathetically.

 

"What do you mean?" Alice asks, confused.

Once you get over ground, Linoa lands.
"Enough flying."
Pause.
"...Should we keep looking, or do you want to play with alchemy a bit?"

 

"Let's do some alchemy!"
Crystal says, dropping to the ground.
"There doesn't seem to be any clues on that relic anyways..."

 

"Well, you said he's using her as a love partner, so she has to live all her life being...used like that." Gail says.

 

"Sounds good." Linoa says, removing Muffy from her staff and opens a portal using it.

"Not what I meant... they truly love each other."

 

"Oh. I guess I got a little confused then." Gail says, embarrassed.

 

"It's fine. I was a bit confused there, too. He's actually fairly nice... so is the Shadow Queen. She was over at my house for tea a few days ago. Again, if you have any shadow problems, I should be able to help. If I can't, the king and queen can."

 

Crystal hops through the portal, looking around.

 

He's in a large cave, shelves lining the wall with a cauldron in the middle.
"Welcome to my humble home."

 

"A few people have reported rogue Shadows in the mines, actually. Apparently in the depths of the mines there are Shadows that attack people." Gail says.

 

"I'll look into it later. I'm hoping to make Holly less scared of me."
