Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Nope, but I figure maybe we can find some clues."

 

There appears to be a copper hoe lying in the grass, presumably used by it's previous owner to till the soil in order to plant the seeds. It looks quite durable.

 

Crystal thinks a bit, looking around.

 

Alice leaves it be, spending the rest of the night sitting on her porch, enjoying the view.

Just fields. Nothing that seems special.
"...but maybe not here."

 

A few fireflies seem to be about, lighting up small patches of Alice's surroundings.

 

Alice smiles a bit, still just sitting there until sunrise, when she goes inside to grab a parasol and resume watching the night go by.

 

The sun is slow to rise, though once it does, Alice can hear someone seem to approach, before running away again.

 

Alice checks her yard for any note.

 

Nothing put a few wet footprints leading away and fading.

 

Alice heads inside, making tea.

 

Alice seems to hear someone approaching her door, before there's a splash of what can only be the pond near her house.

 

Alice checks outside once again.

 

There's another trail of footprints leading away from Alice's door and off the edge toward the pond

 

Alice tries approaching the pond in a much smaller form.

 

All Alice sees is a flash of long, turquoise hair as it's owner jumps down the second waterfall off the mountain.

 

Alice returns to her normal size, leaping straight down in pursuit.

 

There's a large splash at the bottom of the mountain in the river the waterfall leads into, though Alice is still falling.

 

Alice blinks down in pursuit, checking the spirit plane for a soul.

 

There's a soul rapidly swimming away upstream with ease; nearly impossible for Alice to catch.

 

"Wait!" Alice calls, chaining blinks in an attempt to get close enough to be within earshot.
