Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Alice goes inside and looks for the scroll.

 

The scroll seems to have some additional writing that Alice didn't notice before, listing various items needed, as well as a reward at the bottom of the scroll that says 'Bridge Repair'.

 

Alice summons another note, trying to write a message in what she's guessing is the faerie language.

 

Alice finds it a little hard to write, but she eventually manages to get the hang of it by copying the letters on the scroll.

 

"Faeries,
I do not want your offering, though I do want to talk. Please meet me at the river running by my house at midnight tonight." She writes, leaving the note before leaving again.

 

Alice notices a few faeries in some of the rooms, but they fly away and fade once she gets near to them.

 

She doesn't mind them, heading outside and looking for Louis.

 

Alice finds Louis watching over the town near the shops, smiling.

 

Alice approaches him.
"Morning, mayor." She says happily.

 

"Morning, Alice." Louis says, smiling.

 

"If you don't mind me asking, how usually common are fae in this town?"

 

"Fae?" Louis asks, confused.

 

"Faeries."

 

"Oh, ha ha ha. I haven't seen one of those for...a good year or so. They're an incredibly rare sight," Louis says happily, "Holly said she's seen a few dancing on the water at night though."

 

"They're not as rare as you make them sound..." Alice says, thinking.

 

"Well, I have heard of people capturing them for their magic. Quite cruel, I must say. I don't want faeries to fall to the same fate as the dragons did." Louis says.

 

"I think they may be in part responsible for the antics going on around town... but I'm not sure of anything yet."

 

"Antics? What do you mean?" Louis asks.

 

"I'm not sure right now, but when I am you'll be among the first I tell."

 

"Well, thank you." Louis says, smiling.
