Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

A few moments after drinking it, Alice feels a little queasy, before she begins to feel like she's about to pass out. Alice's vision flashes between visions of nature and wildlife, sapling growing into trees and flowers blooming.

 

She kneels on the ground, trying to stay conscious.

 

About a minute later, the visions begin to fade.

"Are you feeling alright?" The wizard asks, Alice now able to hear his voice again.

 

"A relic? Like, what kind?"

 

"Vaguely." She groans.

"The kind Aj and his friends are looking for."

 

The wizard offers a hand to help Alice up.

"I suggest you check that scroll in the community centre, you may be able to read it." The wizard advises.

 

"Oh. Oh, right, they're looking for relics."
Crystal remembers.

 

"If it's still there, I will. Otherwise, will reading the note suffice?" She asks, accepting the help and looking for her parasol.

"Yeah. If we found the last one, we could get Ihra back!"

 

The parasol is where Alice left it.

"Give it a try." The wizard says, shrugging.

 

Alice tries reading her note, grabbing her parasol.

 

The note looks the same, yet Alice can understand it.

"We faeries are happy to aid you. In return, we ask for gifts of the valley. If you are one with the forest, you will understand the true nature of this scroll."

 

"Oh, that's what they're for! So, Ihra isn't gone?"

 

Alice nods.
"Thanks. This answers everything."

"Not quite, it seems."

 

"Glad to be of help." The wizard says, smiling.

 

"Have a nice day." Alice says, leaving and flying up and heading straight for the community center.

 

"That's nice! I know a lot of you liked her a lot."
Crystal smiles.

 

"I never met her, but I'll have the chance to afterwards."

 

"She was pretty nice! I was the last to meet her, so I think I'm the only one in our group that doesn't miss her as much..."

 

"Well, there's always more than one opinion."

 

The community centre is unlocked, though it doesn't seem to have got any better.
