Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Thanks. Sorry to scare you at first... Have a good night." Alice says, turning to head home.

 

The moon shines a dim light as the sun sets, Alice's home seeming welcoming. As Alice gets closer, however, she can hear hasty footsteps, and slight splashing sounds heading away from her house.

 

Alice cloaks with the darkness, following the sound as fast as she can.

 

There's not much darkness to cloak in yet, though the sound appears to lead up the stream going through Alice's house. Alice soon finds herself in the higher parts of town, heading toward a large lake that seems to be the source of the river running through town.

 

Alice checks the spirit plane, curious.
"No need to hide. I don't bite." She whispers, mostly to herself.

 

There's no spirits about, though she can notice a few souls in a large house nearby the lake, looking like they're getting ready for bed.

 

Alice heads back home, affixing a small crystal above her front door.

 

Nothing disturbs Alice through the night, apart from a few owls hooting.

 

I grab an arrow before teleporting behind the draconian and sticking it in their shoulder.

 

"Just a tiny bit more"
I trace, entering the forest.

 

A few deer run by, Amethyst twitching as they do.

They let themselves become arc lightning, the arrow exploding in your hand.

Alice opts to double check that nothing disturbed her files during her absence.

 

"If you want to hunt go ahead this is pretty much it"
I trace quickly, letting go of her hand.

 

Other than a few stray dust particles, her filing cabinets and files are the same as she left them.

 

"Not really at least not yet"

She closes the door behind her, then opens each one by one to make sure nothing was stolen.

 

Everything's as it should be, nothing's missing.

 

"Okay then"
I trace.
"But pretty much heres the forest"

 

She locks each cabinet up before heading outside, locking her house, and trying to let night be her cloak as she checks the cave under her house.

I only cut down the trees cause I didnt want to go in the webs"

Thanks by the way"

 

The bats seem to have lowered in number, though there's a whole apple on the ground under them, possibly dropped by one of the bats if they're fruit bats.
