Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I trek out of the forest, checking on the state of Rath'haga.

 

The wall's mostly torn down, and there's a path cut straight through the forest into a new gate, some of the lumber from the cut trees being used to help with construction even though it's withered.

 

I check to see if anyone's working on it.

 

It seems to already be done, but the vine structure now has (dead) wooden reinforcement, as well as some pieces of the wall helping maintain the foundation.

 

I go inside Rath'haga, looking around.

 

The inside is pretty much as it was left, though a few people are working on salvaging houses that are no longer populated.

 

I walk to the farm, checking on the state of it.

 

It's partially harvested, the rest of the crops still healthy.

 

I fly upwards, scouting the area to see just about how big the farm is.

 

It's about the size of six small houses, including front and back yards.

 

Shadow Stephanie waits behind the door in her royal attire, crown included.

"Hey!" Shadow Stephanie says.

 

Alice smiles.
"Welcome to my new house. I hope you don't mind the mess, I literally moved in a few hours earlier." She says. "I just bought some new kinds of tea, I don't suppose you'd mind joining me in trying it?"

 

"Not at all." Shadow Stephanie says, smiling as she enters and looks around.

 

The house is mostly as it was when Alice bought it, though most lights have a dimming film on them and she seems to suddenly have a parasol collection out of nowhere, on display hanging from a living room wall.

"I have a few boxes of tea left from the Shadow Realm, but I've got ten more from the local grocer. You can take your pick, the water's almost done heating up." Alice says, hanging up her parasol and turning the heat down on the stove burner.

 

"You can choose for me. It's your house, after all." Shadow Stephanie says, sitting down on a chair in the living room.

 

The arrow hits the draconian on the shoulder before exploding as I disappear.

"Considering I don't know how they taste yet, I hope you don't regret that." Alice admits, opening a box of fruity tea and preparing two cups of it before bringing them both out to the living room.

They reel back before sending out a shockwave, trying to keep tabs on you.

 

I reappear behind the draconian, arrow pointed at their head.

 

A bolt of lightning arcs from their horns to the arrow, shocking you as they blink to the side.

 

I drop the arrow and draw another one, unfazed.
