Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Turning to your pets, your eyes catch the glint of something sticking out of the ground near the edge of the forest.

 

what is that? i think to myself as i go near it

 

As you approach, it's a broadsword. The blade has a white aura around it, and it seems to distort the distance it appears to be from you. Your pets also move slower the closer they get to it, as do you.

 

"Whats this? a sword? Definitely doesn't look like my sword!" i say as i pick it up. "better store it in my saddlebag, might come in useful!"

 

You try and grab it, but you can't... grip... the handle... the aura's preventing you from doing so, it seems.
Your hand goes numb after a couple attempts.

 

"Darn... And I was hoping on selling it." Then I reach into my saddlebag and pull out a bag of jerky. "Time for a small lunch break, still wondering what's going on over there..."

OOC: The area we're in now is a field with a forest to the east and mountains to the north. You can name them, but since the gods have final say on what the lands they rule look like/are called/etc, it's subject to change.

Lore: Growing up as a twin was hard, especially when you live on a farm with him, as the unofficial official princess of Emeraldonia, she had to gaurd her families secrets, and carries one of the seven keys to the Emerald Vault at all times, and is obsesed with Emeraldonian Tech and Lore, so she decide to become the manager of the Dig Site and work with the Branions and Gargantuans. One day at the dig site they found something, something HUGE, "Hey! Check this out!" A worker says. "Let me see!" I call out.
