Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

There's a few gaps with visible carpet, and a few holes down that seem to lead to underground tunnels.

 

I jump down one of the holes, looking around.

 

There's another shadow being staring right at you as you enter, a straight corridor with Ragnyon on the other side.
"A-aj? P-please don't..."

 

I draw Shadow Katana, readying it at the other Shadow.

 

They form a shortsword, getting into a battle stance as Ragnyon buries her face, trembling.

 

In less than a second, I've already bisected the Shadow, before running Shadow Katana through their head; my movements near impossible to read or keep track of.

 

They simply reform around the cuts, unharmed.

 

I disappear, possessing the Shadow and draining their strength and power quickly.

 

Possession doesn't seem to be an option; or, at least, they easily block you from it.
"Curious..." The shadow mumbles.

 

"Hmph, enough play." I say, summoning a white, high tech rifle and charging it up, light beginning to shine from it's barrel.

 

"Now would be a fine time
I might see it coming but itd be hard for me to react"

 

"For now. You fire, you're going to kill your friend and destroy that heart of hers you seek."

"Youre metal
I dunno if I can cut metal with broken bones"

 

"She's not made of darkness," I say, "I'm not stupid."

 

"You aren't?" They ask, turning the sword towards Ragnyon.
"Let's just throw in a failsafe, then. You shoot, she's still cut."

 

I fire a massive beam of light, lighting up the entire underground area and obliterating the Shadow completely.

 

"Well its good to know youre not going to stab me"

 

They're gone without a trace and Ragnyon's dazed, her robe cut ever so slightly near her heart.

"I feel like I shouldnt have told you I have broken bones"

 

"You alright?" I ask, walking over to Ragnyon.

 

"P-please d-don't..." She whimpers, turning her head away from you.

 

"I'm not going to hurt you." I say calmly.
