"You didn't expect me to?" He asks in response.

 

"Enslave everyone under his mind control and rule by fear in a society and universe he crafts with his power over the gods, most likely by destroying the current ones, and have people live by his rules under the fear that if they act out they will lose whatever free will they have and become a mindless zombie ready to be culled?" Shadow Stephanie guesses.


"It literally just happened." I say flatly.

 

Amber just smiles.
"Oh so similar."


"And?"

 

"You've forgotten one major difference." Shadow Stephanie says.


"Ugh, whatever." I say, not wanting to argue, instead heading to the library in the void palace.

 

"I have not forgotten the differences, I have only chosen to speak about similarities."


"Yes, the crystal heart is the relic. I already asked Emerald." Sivius says.

 

Shadow Stephanie narrows her eyes.


"Oh thank god." I say, relieved, turning back.

 

Amber laughs.
"Oh, come on. Can't I have a little fun with this?"


"Good thing you didn't show that to Embers, because that's not what she buried."

Crystal comments.

"I wouldnt think it is"
Then, on another tree
"Did you want that rock anyways"

 

"He's not a dog?"
"Oh?"
"He's a behemoth. Kinda full, though. That happens when you binge on a mountain range."

"What rock" She etches back.

 

"Well, clearly he's huge, but what is he?"
Crystal asks, confused.

"There was a rock in your web now its gone"
On a separate tree reads,
"Thats what my friends wanted"

 

"He. Is. A. Behemoth." The girl repeats, annoyed.

"No there wasnt
else Id feel it"

 

"Oh... Sorry. I thought that was just used to describe big things."

"As someone with the power of sight I have to tell you that there was"
"My friend was after it and now that hes got it he wont come back ever"
"Probably - He usually doesnt come back"

 

"No, it's a name. There are others, somewhere. But, obviously their name came from their size."

"Tell them I didnt know it was there"
"I thought they were a group of apex"

 

"Yeah, that makes sense."

"I dont think they care anymore"
"And yeah thats one way to describe them"

 

"Anyhow, were you just curious about Maxie, or did you have other questions?"

"Why do they hunt then"
"A slaughter is statement enough"

 

Crystal looks at Linoa, expectant.

"I told you they wanted the rock thats it"

 

Linoa shrugs.

"Sounds as vile as the group some Ihra gathered"

 

"I've got nothing."

"Whatve you heard about them"

 

"Well, have a nice day, then!" The girl says.
"You too." Linoa smiles, pausing to let you speak before flying off.

"Is that supposed to be a bad joke"

 

"Bye!"
Crystal smiles and waves to the girl, ready to follow Linoa.
