Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I think the only things dumb enough to try to mess with a spaceship are hellhounds."

 

"Can they even reach us up here?" Katie asks.

 

"Nope."

 

"Then we won't be attacked!" Katie says happily.

 

"Then again, Aj's flying this thing so close to the ground it would barely take a spider's web to crash it." Alice shrugs.

 

"W-We're not going to c-crash and d-die, a-are we?" Angela asks, terrified.

 

"Nope."

 

Angela seems a little relieved.

Everyone stays quiet as the spaceship flies toward the city.

 

"Oh, right. Well, thanks!"
Crystal says, then walks off into the Aral'hrah territory.

 

Seems most raptors are asleep at the moment. After a few minutes, Crystal can't find any.

-3 Days Later-

Rineth, Linoa, and Peridot seem to be waiting a fair way outside the city gate, though most everything the city guard has in terms of firepower is pointed directly at the spaceship.

 

Shadow Stephanie opens the door to the spaceship, jumping out and gliding down.

 

Linoa approaches her.
"Hey, have you seen Muffin?" She asks, still a little tipsy.

Rineth sighs.
"Why would your cat be in the underworld?"
"Because Muffy does whatever she wants."

 

"I was going to ask why this city is being so hostile." Shadow Stephanie says flatly.

 

"I mean, this world in particular isn't fond of spaceships." Rineth shrugs.
"At least they haven't activated their AOS cannon. Why a city has one here beats me, but the counterpart on the island has one too." Linoa adds.

 

A bit upset, Crystal thinks fora few moments before looking around for what might be an empty den.

 

The dens are hard to find. Once he does, all the little grass covers have raptors behind him.
Maybe Aral'hrah shared a den...?

 

"Did some kind of alien species come down and mess up their shit?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

 

"Three times." Rineth nods.

 

Confused, Crystal just decides to lay down in the open with Aral'hrah.

 

The wind's a bit chilling. Perhaps it'd be a good idea to dig into the ground a bit where there aren't any dens?
