"She probably is just paranoid. She spends more time with her puppets than she does with other living things."

 

I turn around and look for Sivius.

 

He's just standing there, staring at you.
"I do appreciate you easing into the fight, despite the bore."

 

"T-That's kind of c-creepy." Angela says, creeped out.

 

"When you have nothing to lose nor win, why go all in?" I say, bringing my sword down on Sivius.

 

"Well, yeah, I kinda have a lot of things that help me survive, compared to other people."
Crystal says, walking with Fuela by now.
"I've always wondered what it's like to taste something, though."

 

"True, but when it comes down to it, we all are."

"I wouldn't worry too much about it. Things can taste good, but they can also make you wish you didn't have a mouth."

"Why not?"
He blocks and slides your blade wide, letting off a shockwave at point-blank range.

 

"How so?" Angela asks.

 

"But, then you just don't taste those things, right?"

 

"It varies."

"No, you taste whether you want to or not."

 

Angela pauses.

"H-How am I creepy?" Angela asks.

 

"Oh. But then, just, don't put it in your mouth."

 

"Well, all signs point to you body swapping with Abigail. That's creepy, right?"

"But you don't know what it tastes like until you put it in your mouth."

 

"Huh. I guess so."

 

"Then again, I guess everything's a tradeoff."

 

Crystal thinks for a bit.
"Not everything."

 

"Y-Yeah...I r-really hope my body w-wasn't stolen by a m-murderer..." Angela says, scared.

 

Unaffected by the shockwave, I take another swing.

 

"Well, if you'd like, I could bend a few rules and try and figure things out for you."

"Oh?"

A needle blocks it, three more sticking in your bones.

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, shame on us."

 

"W-What do you mean?" Angela asks, confused.
