"Then go ahead. I'll walk around for a bit."

 

"They told me how to scan. When I told them everything the scan saw, they frowned and pressed a button. I fell dormant shortly after."

Akli'il slides into a den that's camoflauged by loose dirt, no other raptors approaching you.

 

"Did you get their name? Or can you describe their appearance?" Stephanie asks.

 

"No, I couldn't get a name. Their appearance was simple; a draconian, brown scaled with grey spines. No wings, though."

 

"Hm..." Stephanie says, taking out her journal and starting to draw.

 

"Lab coat, of course, and tail half-stripped to bone. That's all I was able to get before I was deactivated."

 

Stephanie draws a rough looking sketch of what she thinks the draconian looks like. It looks somewhat accurate the the description, though Stephanie looks like she could use some practice.

 

"What is the point of sketching based off a description?" The construct asks.

 

"I'm just trying to improve my art skills I guess." Stephanie says.

 

"Why?"

 

"Fun? Everything sort of becomes mundane and pointless if you ask yourself why you're doing it." Stephanie says, smiling.

 

"I wasn't given emotions. Not much of them, at least."

 

"Most robots don't have emotions. They can fake them, but they're not really feeling them. I guess emotion is sort of something that comes with sentience." Stephanie says, shrugging.

 

"My databanks say it usually comes with biological beings, not sentience. Else, robots would develop emotion over time."

 

"Well, my friend who's a robot has emotions, or at least seems to, and she's sentient." Stephanie says, shrugging.

 

"Then she's a cyborg."

 

"But she isn't human at all. She's a complete robot." Stephanie says.

 

"Then she has fake emotions."

 

"Really? They seemed so...genuine." Stephanie says, lost in thought.

 

"They could be, if she is not a robot."
