Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Ah" I reply, still looking confused. I walk over to Riihs, and with as quiet as possible, I whisper, "Riihs, do you remember that promise I made to you back before we left the stronghold?"

 

I turn towards Abigail.

OOC: Is Abigail still wearing the shades?

 

"Another casualty."

Ihra finishes the sugar cane before going on to the cookies.
"Ihra, usually you hold off on eating until you actually have made cookies."
"But the sugar!"
*sigh*

"Vaguely..."

 

"Well alright then... So, will you be taking your leave?"

 

"Well, I promised that I wouldn't kill Ihra. Well, I'll tell you that if I ever switch sides, I'll uphold it."

 

"I dunno. I might apologize to the healer for the scare, then try and make amends with those that don't trust me. Then I keep meaning to meet up with Ihra..."

I nod. "One more thing, what would happen if all of the Fragments on our side get...wiped out?"

 

"Yes, of course!" I summon a map which I had made quite a while ago of the place, and look at it. "Over there. Between the mountains is a lake, I don't think I went there in ages..."

 

"They'd probably leave; they seek to rout the Fragments of Divine Judgement. If that was done, they have no need to be here or destroy this world."

"Then let's go!"
He scampers off ahead, albeit unsure where exactly he's going.

 

"I see..."

 

OOC: Yes, she's still wearing the shades.

Abigail looks at you.

Artemis chuckles slightly.

I reach over and take one of the cookies from the jar, having regained quite a bit of my strength. I pass the cookie to Artemis before taking another one and de-summoning the jar.

 

"I can point you to the healer if you wish. If meeting with this Ihra is more important to you though, don't hesitate to leave. I may deliver your apologies for you."

 

I approach the Fire Guardian. "So, you're a Fire Guardian? I happen to have some questions for you."
"You could say Count Drake has some burning questions for you!" Echoes Leo.

 

"Ask away, then." Abigail says, adjusting her shades.

 

"Very well. So, what would happen to Fire Guardians if they are exposed to water and/or ice for a prolonged period of time?"

 

"It severely weakens us, and drains us of our abilities with fire," Abigail says, "Our hair also turns to a more ash grey to indicate it; considering we can no longer ignite it."

Abigail shivers slightly at the thought of 'The Fishbowl Treatment'.

 

"Ah, I see. Is it possible for a Fire Guardian to die from being exposed to water and/or ice for a prolonged amount of time?"

 

"Not really, but we'd be susceptible to attacks considering we'd be extremely weak." Abigail says.

"Why are you asking such oddly specific questions about my kind?" Abigail asks sceptically, tilting her head.

 

"I'm only beginning with my array of questions. The book I read was descriptive, but had lots of loose ends. Alright. Next question. Are Fire guardians able to 'spontaneously combust'?"
"He means explode." Echoes Leo.

 

"We can set our hair on fire, which helps with our use of magic as well as burning the faces of anyone who tries to literally backstab us," Abigail says, "Though I guess we can survive explosions, if we have an explosive."

"Maybe you could work as a terrorist." I say, sitting up.
