"Who?" Angela asks, confused.


"This food is amazing!" Katie compliments happily as she eats.

"I agree." Stephanie says happily.

 

I nod.
"Let's get moving, then. Should we start with a smaller group of people? I know where a big house of them are."

 

"Souls are the only thing that magic doesn't disguise. Why are you afraid to be you?"

Ali smiles, keeping quiet.

"I don't really care."

 

"I don't u-understand what you're talking about," Angela says nervously, confused, "Is this a-about that murderous girl?"


The group continues to eat, though I seem to be setting aside a small pile of various foods.

 

I think for a few moments.
"Let's start with the guards. I'd assume they're the best fighters, so it might be good to associate them first."
I say, then fly upwards and look around for them.

 

"She's only murderous to her enemies. But yes... your soul is a perfect match to Abigail's. And, the two never appear at the same time. Thus, I question your identity."

Ali smiles, using a dim solar ray from her paw to keep it warm.

One's nearby.

 

Crystal sits down while I'm gone.

I land near them.
"Hey."

 

"Hello again. I'm en route to the farm. Find anyone else?"

 

"Yeah, two other people. They were under some rubble, but I got them out and recommended they go to the farm. Where's the other guard?"

 

"Taking a nap."

 

"Well, I want you two to meet someone."
I state.

 

"Sure!" He says, nodding.

 

"Do you think we should get the other guard, or do you just want to go by yourself?"
I ask.

 

"Let's start with me."

 

"Follow me, then."
I say, walking off to the farm and Ytir.

 

He follows, hesitating when he sees Ytir.
"Why's that near our crops?"

 

"He. It's a guy. And someone thought it might be good for some of you and some raptors to talk. I do as well, considering that many raptors would like to kill you."
I say, matching his pace.

 

The guard hesitates, then nods.
"I guess. I didn't know they could talk."

 

"Apparently a lot of you didn't."

Over by Ytir, Crystal's fooling around with shifting and eventually sees us.
"Hey! There they are."
He says to Ytir.

 

I take a shot in the dark.
