Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I think so, I noticed some new art in my home. Well, shared home." Stephanie says, smiling.

 

"Oh, okay."
Crystal says, jogging off to catch up with me.

"Uh, yeah, AJ's sorta a king."
Crystal confirms, moving now.

 

"Oh, you live with her? Uhm... maybe you could help the Matriarch with her worries? She lost a few paintings in the fire, and she was looking for somewhere safe for the rest of them. I keep telling her if the humans didn't hate us, she should sell some at a gallery, but she never listens and they hate us."

"Shit... no wonder he's got super strong friends."

 

"Well, he is a shadow, so he's pretty powerful by himself."

 

"What's a shadow?"

 

"Kinda like, a demon, I guess, that can do a lot of strong stuff."

 

"Wait... so you just took me into a realm of demons?!"

 

"Yeah, but they're not scary unless you hurt them."

 

The guards at the doors to the palace open them for you, watching you as you enter.

"If she just wants somewhere safe for the paintings to be kept, there's a museum in the Shadow Palace." Stephanie says happily.

 

I enter, heading for an elevator, Crystal following.

 

"She has sixty paintings left..."

"Well, I can't even see them."

 

A pair of guards talk casually in the hallway, and an air guardian appears to be wooing a water guardian further along the hallway, the water guardian blushing.

"Wow...that's a lot of paintings." Stephanie says, surprised.

 

"Then you won't hurt them!"

I don't seem to mind, heading towards the elevators, meanwhile Crystal looks around more.

 

"She does them in her free time. And she has a lot of free time." Orchid sighs. "She just forgot she was out of wall space when she made the painting that's now in your house."

The elevator looks the same as the one you used previously, the crystal dials glowing lightly.

"I'll see what the Shadow Palace can hold." Stephanie says, shrugging.

 

Crystal says silent, following me.

I open the book, looking for the game room.

 

"Maybe you could sell a few off and use the funds to help her find a new hobby or buy better 'palace' building materials? Or tools, I guess."

Aral'hrah just keeps trying to look around, unable to see much.

 

It's listed a few pages in, though finding the page afterwards is easy, the code shown.

"I'll try and get a group to come collect them with what power I control. I don't think I'll be able to carry all of them." Stephanie says, almost looking a little afraid.

 

"Are you worried someone might try and steal them? I could show you where they're kept if you'd like."

 

"Not really. I'd like to see where they're kept, though." Stephanie says.
