Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Eve puts a hand to her ear again, talking quietly again.

 

"Stop relaying shit to Aj and just admit you're sent by him." Neal says, continuing her spellweave.

 

Eve fires a paralysis dart into Neal's neck.

 

She blocks it.
"Bitch."

 

Eve grins, smug.

 

"I was trying to get you to wreck the inhibitor. For one, I was the next to die. Second, thanks for doing my job for me."

 

"So you killed thousands to save yourself?" Eve asks.

 

Neal smiles.
"Artificial unintelligence, I see." She says, vanishing.

 

Eve traces Neal, looking for her invisible body.

 

There is no body, but there's a teleport trace leading back to the castle.

 

Eve quickly flies back to the castle, following the trace.

 

There's something breaking before Eve arrives, Neal gone and no more trace to follow.

 

Eve searches for the broken item.

 

There's a broken picture frame.

 

Eve looks at the frame, searching for it's picture and anything behind it.

 

No picture, nothing behind it. Maybe it's just a stylized portal?

 

Eve tries climbing through the frame.

 

It's broken.

 

Eve attempts to fix the frame, curious.

 

It's charred, splintered, frozen, and in at least seven pieces.
