Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Thanks. Should I use it outside of the house?"
I ask politely.

 

"If you want to, but it teleports you to the Realm of Shadows, so you don't need to," Stephanie says, "Sometimes I use teleportation crystals when walking through doors or entering a room with no other exits, so it looks like I've disappeared."

 

"Smart."
I compliment.
"I was just wondering if it was dangerous to use inside the house."

 

"It shouldn't be." Stephanie says happily.

 

"Alright. It nice nice seeing you."
I say, before using the crystal.

 

"It was nice seeing you too!" Stephanie says, smiling.

Upon using the crystal, it seems to disappear as you find yourself inside the Shadow Palace.

 

I walk around, trying to find an elevator, and/or trying to recognize where I am.

 

You easily recognise you're outside the entrance doors, a couple of guards keeping watch. There seems to be an elevator nearby, just down the left hallway.

 

I go to the elevator, locating the directory at the back of it, and looking for a code to a portal room of sorts, or where I could get a portal to Xelentia's palace.

 

There just so happens to be a portal room listed, luckily.

 

I turn the dials to enter the code to the room.

 

Like last time, turning the centre dial once the others in place teleports you, your vision going black for a second before you find yourself in a room with a large portal frame and a terminal.

 

I take a better look at the terminal, seeing if anything on it would explain something.

 

All you can see is a list of commands previously entered, seemingly used to locate and open a portal to a location on Earth, the last piece of text from the console saying "Portal successfully closed."

 

I look around the room for a directory of sorts.

 

There's nothing else in the room, just the portal frame and the console.

 

I take a look at what there is to actually press on the terminal.

 

There seems to be a basic QWERTY keyboard, all the keys able to be pressed. The keyboard can't seem to be removed, however, as it's built into the terminal.

 

I try typing in 'Xelentia's Palace' and pressing 'enter' to see what it does.

 

It comes up with an error:
"INVALID COMMAND. TYPE 'HELP' FOR A LIST OF COMMANDS, OR TYPE AIHELP TO ACTIVATE THE HELPER AI."
