Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Sure."
I say, making my way way over to the shelf, looking in the cupboard under it.

 

There's notes, ink wells and quills, quite a few mage crystals in pots, voodoo dolls and pins, buttons, and a strange frosty egg in the cupboard. Some of the items seem to be misplaced, a few pins near the pots of mage crystals and notes strewn about.

 

I organize everything that's alike together, checking the pots for anything else and not touching the egg.

 

There's a loose quill in one of the pots, but otherwise they just contain mage crystals.

 

I take the quill out, and try to find where it could go in one of the wells.

 

All of the wells are full, though it could probably just be laid down near to one.

 

I do so, making sure everything else is together afterwards.

 

The cupboard seems to be organised quite neatly, the only thing off being the egg making the area around it slightly frozen.

 

"Is this egg supposed to be here?"
I ask Stephanie.

 

"Hm? Oh yeah, just don't touch it. It's an egg for a unique breed of phoenix. Instead of it's element being fire, it's element is ice." Stephanie says.

 

"You're not afraid it's going to hatch in your cupboard?"

 

"I'll know when it's ready to hatch. It needs to be stored in a cool and dry place to make sure it grows properly." Stephanie says.

 

"Alright."
I close the cupboards.

 

Stephanie seems to have made her work desk a lot more presentable.

"Thanks for the help. Shall we continue with the tour?" Stephanie asks.

 

"Sure."
I stand up, waiting for Stephanie to lead.

 

Stephanie exits her room, taking a left down a wide hallway leading to a red door, a strange looking darker red eye painted on it.

"This is Shadow Stephanie's room." Stephanie says, opening the door to a room that faintly smells of blood.

 

"How often does she come here? I mean, she has a whole castle."

 

"Quite often, actually. I think one of the main reasons she stayed here so much is to disguise the fact she was a queen." Stephanie says.

Shadow Stephanie's room contains a desk with a computer, wardrobe and a chest of drawers, as well as a shelf with various trinkets and even a few skulls. Shadow Stephanie's bed is slightly smaller than Stephanie's, and lies under the window at the back of the room. The smell of blood mixed with the red carpet makes it hard to tell if the carpet was originally red or bloodstained.

 

"When did you guys first meet the Shadows?"
I inquire as I look around the room.

 

"I think around when I was thirteen." Stephanie says, thinking.
