Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Bye!" She yawns.

Once you arrive, there don't seem to be any guards, and the drawbridge is locked up.

Whoever it was is gone, as far as Artemis can tell.

 

I fly up to the wall, looking around to see if there's anyone.

 

Nobody's even on the battlements.

 

I fly around the area, looking for a trace of anyone.

 

Artemis keeps searching, her eyes turning red as she checks alternate planes of reality for beings invisible to the naked eye.

 

"So Laze. Tell me more about this Prophet."

 

"They're a draconian, which looks like a half dragon but really is a species of its own. She's wounded and for some reason cannot be healed, but she still goes around and peers into anyone's future who is curious about it."

Still nothing that would signify a getaway.

The only thing you can sense is Aj flying on the opposite end of the stronghold.
Something's going down in the castle.

 

I fly to it, going inside.

 

There seems to be a commotion, many people fleeing out the main entry.

 

"Sounds like a force to be reckon with." I say with outstanding curiosity

 

"No, she herself cannot fight well at all. However, she always has some kind of escort, and they are definitely a force to be reckoned with."

 

I look around, going in the opposite direction that people are running.

 

"You sure seem to know a lot about them. Almost like you know them on a personal level."

 

"When a legend is popular, everyone knows enough about them as if it were on a personal level."

In the castle, guards are ushering people out as fast as they can.

 

I keep going in the direction of the supposed danger.

 

"If what you say is true, then the kitsunes must have been avoiding that legend for as long as I can remember. Never heard of them until two weeks ago."

 

"Your kind isn't fond of having your fate read off to you."

That's up the stairs, towards the hidden staircase, and...

...the narrow passage to the royal area is blocked off.

 

I check what it's blocked off by.

 

"Fair enough."

 

"Ah, thank you." I say, walking to the school while looking around at my surroundings.
