Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I nod, entering to take a look at my surroundings.

 

"What the, I killed you."

 

Laze looks at you, confused.
"Uhm... what?"

The streets empty the moment people see you.

 

"Sorry, I thinking of something else.... And anyway what I meant is for Anne to try and burn her father."

 

I keep a smile on my face as I walk about, trying to find the shop with the girl that led me to the stronghold.

 

"Sure." Anne says, throwing a fireball at the half-dragon's corpse.
Laze sighs.

It's not hard to find, seeing as it's just off the main street.
The door seems locked, though the shopkeeper is obviously inside.

 

I politely knock on the door.

 

A few seconds pass and the fire extinguishes and the corpse is perfectly fine
"Like I told you. Immune to fire."

 

"I arrived only a few hours ago," Artemis says, "I wish people would stop assuming I know everything."

 

The mage opens it.
"Ah, good. I have something I literally found in the trash for you in here." She says.

"That's abnormal." Laze comments.

"You're kind of friends with that crazy robot. He seems to have access to everything, so we figured you would as well."

 

"Alright."
I just accept.
"May I come in?"

 

"I have access to a lot of resoucres, yes. However I don't know everything about your culture." Artemis says.

 

"Yes." She says, throwing open the door as she heads back into her room, soon walking out with Fuela.
"She seemed hungry and lost, and I didn't have the heart to turn her in to the guards."

"Here, strength talks. Weapons are a sign of weakness, and armor is a luxury."

 

I quickly close the door, making sure not to slam it, then turn back to the girl.
"Do you want me to?"
I ask, but show no signs of nervousness.

 

Fuela seems startled.
"Well... that's what I'm supposed to say, but I don't think so. I was wondering if you might be able to escape one more time and bring her home. My father doesn't know yet, and I don't know how much longer I can keep her hidden.

 

"Yeah, I can do that."
I nod.
"Come here, you."
I motion to Fuela.

 

She carefully slips out of the mage's arms and trots over to you.
"Sorry, I figured hiding was better than making a scene."

 

"It was."
I confirm, then turn to the mage.
"Is everyone hiding from me because they think I'm with the raptors?"
I ask.

 

"Yep. Being seen with her won't be good."

 

"Do you think I am?"
