Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

She groans, and her staff projects a draconian that's much taller and has much more intricate horn growth. It's all white, so you can't determine color.

"I can sense my daughter wounded here... are you responsible for this? Tell me the truth, it'd be a waste of my time to slay an innocent."

 

"Whether you are stopping the Emeraldonians from reclaiming their wealth or trying to claim it for yourself, you still have power. Do you wonder why I came when that rift opened and Vesius fell out? I thought he was a danger to the Darklands. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. And it is exactly the same with this Vault." A roar sounds from outside as the first of my monsters arrives. Soon another is heard and many more. I smile. "Well, your audience with a God is now over. Let our powers speak for us."

 

"Your monsters can't mend the child's wing."
She stands up, looking you straight in the eye.

"If I were to shift the blame on you, could you handle the Fragment of Might?"
Three clones leap from her current position.

 

"I did not, and I know not of who did it."
OCC: Sleep o_o

 

The projection looks bitter.
"She'll live, but do you have anything to cover her wing?"
Something warm creeps across to your foot... her wing is punctured, and it's... not a pretty sight.

 

"So, what exactly are Fragments?"

 

"Us. Them. Pieces of our deities."
Orbs float from each monster into her.
"Me."
She leaps into the sky as the clones emit odd pulses. Said pulses stun almost all of the monsters you summoned.
"Let's get on with it, already!"
Two of her orbs fly towards you as the sky darkens.

 

I create a shield of darkness using the dark aura. I look around at the remaining monsters. I see a Drakonshade (something which looks like a dragon but actually has surprisingly similar abilities to Eras himself) and a Infernal Beast (a gigantic, fiery, heavily armoured beast which is so hot that it can swim through rock). I order the Drakonshade to use its ability when flying to try and help tackle Feiha. I then order the Infernal Beast to sink into the ground and slowly try to pick off the clones.

 

"You... you resonate with dark energies."
The orbs redirect onto the Drakonshade, blasting it out of the sky (It's not dead yet...). The Infernal Beast destroys one clone, but the others take to the sky and launch orbs of ice in its direction.
You quickly realize the clones don't have armor, only the real seems to.
"Ihra could destroy you, were she older or at least able to focus."
The real throws her three orbs at you, them forming a net that quickly expands.

 

"I am Eras, the God of Darkness... do you really think fighting me will be that easy?"
I hold out my tome and my dark aura, now in the form of a shield, explodes outwards to anything it touches, including the net. I direct the Infernal Beast to sink into the ground... for now. I then direct the Drakonshade to cloak itself in dark mist.

 

"For your sake, don't let Ihra get angry at you."
She starts flying away from you, too slow to be a serious retreat. She's seeing how dedicated you are to this fight.

 

"Thank you, and for a fact, yes, there is a dig site in the ruins of Emeraldonia, and the workers get paid handsomely, my sister runs the operation, and as well we just lost the second in command to, well, an attack, but I'm sure you could find work there. And there is a place in Vandu that has some good paying jobs, not for the faint of heart though."

 

I'm sorry, but I am forced by present circumstances to leave the RP. You can give my 'God' position to someone else. :C

(Let's just say even though I'm forum active, I'm not forum active enough.)

 

I ask the two monsters to guard the entrance to the Vault. I watch Feiha to see what she does next.
OOC: Are the other monsters all dead or just stunned still?

 

Acknowledged.

Positioning themselves near the vault, they look to ensure nobody else is there.
Some stunned monsters come to, the others disintegrate where they stood.

Feiha vanishes as she continues her slow retreat.

A mass of dark energy condenses above you, forming a rift that lasts only a brief instant.

During said instant, a burst of energy is released from the rift, and another draconian hits the ground, hard.

Her crimson robe is a little unnerving as her armor shatters and bounces against the ground. The number of weapons... even more so.
"So... close..."
She kneels, sighing heavily.

 

"Another draconian? Well I guess they said there would be 10... Who are you?"

 

"Immortal... I can't... not in this state..."
She grabs two of her four blades. The seven tomes behind her begin to spin rapidly, forming a white ring.
"I... won't lose her..."
She never makes eye contact with you.

 

"Won't lose who? One of the other draconians? If so, which ones?"

 

"Ihra."
She vanishes. One of your summoned monsters is obliterated where it stands.
The others turn to strike, but she flies away faster than they can react.

 

I say to the monsters, "Tupiq!" (Stop!) The monsters obey me and start guarding the tomb.
I decide to fly east to the Darklands, with my priority being to reach the city of Fellak, the capital of the Darklands.
