Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"In case you haven't noticed, the only illusion that happened there was me disorienting your sense of direction. We still have problems."

 

Abigail doesn't seem to stop.

A few of the trees begin to erupt into flames; the ground starts to become charred.

 

"Time to have some fun."

I whisper to Rob, "Make some water noises."

Abigail sees water gushing in from behind the trees, flowing towards her.

 

"Ok, now I might literally turn insane."

"Abigail, you need to calm down now. I don't know the effects yet of my sword against you, but I warn you, it can be lethal. I'm giving you the option of MERCY." I emphasize on that last word.

OOC: I am not letting the Undertale references stop

I whisper back, "Ah, that's a better option than killing her." I take my water canteen and shake it as loudly as I can.

 

A look of fear briefly flashes across Abigail's face, but she doesn't stop.

Fireballs begin to rain down upon Rob, yet they all seem to swerve out of the way; never making contact.

 

I look at Abigail, smiling. "It seems your fireballs are missing me? I'll tell you, I cannot allow you to advance further, or I will let my sword speak for itself. You shall die upon these waters which me and Lyphux have summoned." You see me shaking my hand repeatedly, yet there is nothing there but air. "As you can see from my hand, I am ordering the water to charge towards you."

 

I whisper to Rob, "This isn't working as well as I'd hoped, we may need a better strategy here."

 

"What a horrible monster, torturing such a poor, innocent half-demon." Abigail says, holding up a mirror to herself.

Abigail smiles.

 

I whisper back, "How about add the illusion of ice in the water too? Maybe add some Water Elementals"

"Ah, you know...Let's destroy everything in this wretched world. Everyone, everything in these worthless memories... Let's turn 'em all to dust. Hahahah! That's a wonderful idea!"

I quickly whisper to Lyphux, "Don't worry, I'm not going evil"

 

Abigail disappears, appearing behind Rob; offering a handshake.

"Don't you know how to greet a new pal? Turn around and shake my hand." She says with a dark tone.

 

I look panicked
"Uh... mirrors... uh, bad..."

I mutter to myself, "How do you do mirrors again?"

Abandoning the idea, I make up my mind.
"Okay, time for plan B."

I snap my fingers, and all at once, Rob and I are gone (cloaked if you will, I'm just bending the light about). There are still two dark spots where Rob's pupils are.

Oh yeah, Rob also can't see himself, so that's a bit disorienting.

 

Abigail's eyes glow red.

"Nice try; but you'll need to do better than that." She says, looking at Luphyx.

 

"Greetings. I am Cha-I mean Robert" I grin deviously.

I whisper to Lyphus, "I'm trying to keep her busy. Do something, quick. I'll run out of things to say soon"

 

"It's Luphyx. And from where I'm standing, it looks like the only thing to do is slash, for real this time."

 

The sound of a whoopee cushion can be heard.

"The ol' whoopee cushion in the hand trick, it's ALWAYS funny." Abigail says.

After a pause, Abigail says "That's, uh, your cue to laugh."

 

I furrow my brow. "The eyes but... The eyes!"

I focus some light into Abigail's eyes. Around the amount you get from looking at the sun. Unfortunately, she's not wearing sunglasses.

 

I whisper back, "Ah, that's right...yes...Lyph-I mean Lyphyx-I mean Luphyx. Sorry, I just can't grasp over that name of yours. I'll make Abigail's temporary death quick."

I shake my head. "You know...birds are singing...flowers are blooming...on days like these...kids like you...SHOULD BE FREEZING IN ICE" I stand up, make a spin, draw my sword, and slash my sword across Abigail's cheek.

OOC: I had to mix up the line a little since I figured that "SHOULD BE BURNING IN HELL" Is not an offensive thing to say to a Flame Guardian, because...they're made of fire.

 

OOC: Combo attack!

OOC: On days like these, your own personal hell should be freezing over.

 

Abigail shades her face, "Hey buddy look over here! ...haha now you're blind!" She says.

A little bit of blood drips from her cheek, before it's filled with darkness. Abigail glares at you, extending her claws.

OOC: They're not made of fire, they're immune to it. They look like a normal person albeit with coloured hair / eyes.

 

OOC: the references are strong with this one.

I re-direct the light into the shadowy ex-wound, and increase its radiance.
