Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Well, then I'd like you to get us across sooner."

He spits at the spaceship with annoyance.

 

"If you look closely you can see that the path across is already there."
I start walking into the ocean and start sinking

 

"Sgavrinn!" Artemis says, annoyed.

 

Anne hesitates.
"Uhm... I don't like getting soaked, so I'm just going to call Phoenix and meet you on the other side..."

"The door's too small."

 

"Aj, the door is too small for Sgavrinn!" Artemis calls to me.

"Oh, he can just ride on top!" I call back.

 

Sgavrinn shakes his head.
"No. No no no. Please no."

 

"Do you think you defended well?"

"They're pretty cute."
Crystal comments.

 

Artemis sighs.

"I'll stay back and let Sgavrinn fly me home. You go yourself." Artemis calls.

"You sure?" I ask.

"Yeah, Sgavrinn needs me." Artemis calls.

I close the door to the space ship, before it starts to hover off the ground, before blasting off.

 

"Nobody got past Akli'il territory, so yes."

"The hatchlings are. I wouldn't tell that to the elders."

"Thanks. I hate big metal moving things." Sgavrinn complains, nuzzling Artemis.

 

"Come on, we have a long journey ahead of us." Artemis says, getting on Sgavrinn's back.

 

Sgavrinn takes off, following directions as they're given.

 

Sgavrinn arrives home in the early hours of the morning, Artemis falling off of Sgavrinn, barely able to keep herself awake as she just lies on the grass.

 

Sgavrinn curls up around her, falling asleep himself.

 

Artemis summons the strength to get up and stagger inside.


In the morning, Stephanie heads downstairs to make breakfast, seeming rather surprised to see Sgavrinn in the garden.

 

He's still out like a light.

 

Stephanie brings out a couple of bowls for Sgavrinn, one containing water and the other containing a packet's worth of ham, before heading back inside.

 

Sgavrinn doesn't even wake up until the next morning.

 

"Hey Sgavrinn." I say, walking out to Sgavrinn with a cup of coffee in hand. Some of Sgavrinn's ham seems to be missing, and the water has a few leaves in it.

 

He yawns, then growls at you before rubbing his eyes and humming.

 

I groan, walking back inside.

A while later, Artemis heads out to see Sgavrinn.

"Hey, Sgavrinn!" Artemis says happily, petting Sgavrinn.
