Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Did she ever turn on you for no apparent reason?" Stephanie asks, flipping through her tome.


The water guardian smiles, trying to pet Sgavrinn. They feel incredibly weak.

 

"Alright, good. Now, can you tell me about the attack?"
I ask.

"Oh, that's nice."
Crystal smiles.

 

"Never, outside of the arena."


Sgavrinn tries to share his life force with them through vines.

"Just a standard attack, but twice the size."

"Are all of the caves like this...?"

 

"Was it unexpected?"

"Should we check?"

 

"Hm." Stephanie says, reading through her tome.


He succeeds in doing so, and they start to gain back a bit of their strength.

 

Alice waits.


Sgavrinn retracts the vines, nuzzling them again.

"Not really. It was right on schedule."

"Sure..."
Linoa flies from cave to cave, and they all seem to have a dragon or dragons in them.
"Well... that answer is yes."

 

"Did you want something else?" Stephanie asks after reading through her tome for a bit, looking up.


Artemis gets up, looking up at the rocket ship that seems to be rather high into the sky at this point, before going back to healing the water guardians.

"I...couldn't reach her." Artemis says to Sgavrinn, disappointed in herself.

 

"No, not really, except maybe a light resistance charm."


Sgavrinn lets out a whine before just standing around, keeping watch.

 

"I can probably make you one of those, if you give me a bit of time." Stephanie says.


Artemis just focuses on healing the water guardians, the water guardians themselves taking a long while to heal. Once most of the water guardians are mostly healed, Artemis starts asking them about what happened.

 

"That'd be amazing."


Sgavrinn keeps watch until falling asleep nearby.

 

"I'll come find you once I've made the charm then." Stephanie says, taking a light turquoise crystal out of her cloak.


Sgavrinn sleeps mostly undisturbed, until he's woken in the late evening by the sound of something loud landing nearby.

 

"Thank you."


Sgavrinn wakes with a start, letting out a surprised yip.

 

Stephanie disappears with a light green flash.


A small spaceship seems to have landed nearby, Artemis catching me as I leap out of it.

"Look what I goooot!" I say happily, holding up a light blue necklace.

 

Alice smiles, leaving.


"One more?" Sgavrinn asks while yawning.

 

"Yes, I believe it's courage. We can take a break now to rest though." Artemis says.

"Sgavrinn can ride in my new space ship if he's tired." I say, glancing at Sgavrinn.

 

Sgavrinn hisses at the spaceship, spitting towards it.

 

"Hey, I used this thing to blow up the guy spreading evil and trying to steal the necklaces for himself!" I say, defending my space ship, "You should have seen it, Artemis. It was so epic and intense."

"I kind of want to ride in it home. Healing the water guardians was really draining." Artemis says.

 

Sgavrinn pouts, letting out a whine.

 

"Not a single one. We don't need them to cross the ocean."

 

"What's up, Sgavrinn?" Artemis asks as I climb back into my space ship, opening a side door into a passenger area.
