Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I hold back my words, grabbing Artemis' shoulder and disappearing with her.

I appear near the bridge across the ravine, looking stressed.

"I knew this was a bad idea, I knew coming back here would end up with the same outcome, yet I still came here." I say, stressed.

Artemis just sighs, sitting down.

 

A human looking terribly unhealthy approaches you curiously, knife (sticking) in hand.

 

I decide to sever an arm, storing Shadow Katana through my chest.

"Greetings." I say, waving my severed arm.

 

They attempt to cut you with the knife, no hostility in their eyes.

 

I let them, seeming unphased.

Artemis creates a blindfold out of vines, covering her eyes as thorns appear to sprout all over her skin, piercing upwards in a painful looking manner.

 

They keep trying to cut you before they start to ignore you entirely, turning to Artemis and attempting the same thing.

 

Artemis just stays as she is as her skin is cut.

After a short moment of thinking, I suddenly cry out in pain.

"AH CHRIST MY ARM! AAAARGH! MY ARM IS MISSING! AAAH, THERE'S A K-KATANA IN MY CHEST, HOLY FUCK THAT HURTS SO MUCH!" I scream, writhing in pain as I loosely try to remove Shadow Katana.

 

"Then I hope your grandma taught you how to make boats." I say.
I transform into a strong young male with a sword in both hands.
"I'll go get some wood to light a fire, in the meantime I recommend you go get some food."

 

They seem to not even hear you, trying to make Artemis bleed.

Anne nods, running off.

 

The cuts make Artemis bleed, and they can notice blood from all the thorns sticking out from her skin.

I cut off my head, throwing it and catching it in my hand.

"Oh no, I have been decapitated! Aaagh!" I shout, sounding a little annoyed.

 

Their eyes seem to gain a little color at the sight of flowing blood.
"H-hello..." They say, voice airy. "W-where are y-you from?"

Still, you seem completely invisible to them.

 

"Another world." Artemis says, looking at me despite being blindfolded. I re-attach my head and arm, before empowering Artemis. More blood seems to start flowing from Artemis.

 

Their eyes seem to focus more.
"H-how did y-you come? W-why would y-you come h-here?"

 

"I seek a...hrngh...artefact..." Artemis says, flinching a bit as a pair of claws rip her chest partly open, blood pouring out and spilling into her lap.

 

"A-ah... try t-the others... I-I don't k-know where t-that is."

 

"Where are t-they?" Artemis asks as blood suddenly spurts out of her chest, partially getting on the human. Artemis gently reaches for the leaf crystal on her necklace, touching it for a moment as its soft glow seems to fade. Artemis' hair darkens to a deeper moss green, and her teeth seem to grow to become more...vampiric.

 

"V-village over here... g-good luck, miss." They utter.

 

"Do you mind if I have some of your blood?" Artemis asks, getting up, her voice with a dark undertone.

 

"N-none of us h-have much left. B-besides... you'd probably h-have to fight... h-her, that hemomancer."

 

"Alright, thanks for your information." Artemis says, heading toward the village, a slight trail of blood behind her. Artemis looks, and senses, for any animals nearby.
