"Most of them aren't the smartest bunch. Or at least, the loudest aren't always the smartest."

 

"That's... often true with chief."

 

"How so? He seems like a smart guy."

 

"He's a strong guy. He's a careful and patient guy. He's pretty wary too, but smart is a stretch, especially for any raptor other than me."

 

"Seems a little bias, but you know them better than me."

 

"I'm the only one who tries solutions other than break it or stack rocks until whatever it is can't get to us. Thus, though it's biased, it's a step forward. I hope."

 

"It's not necessarily biased if it's true. It's not bias for me to say that I can easily overpower an unarmed human, for example."

 

"I don't even know what bias means, I'm just trying to fit in here..." Ytir admits. "If you could teach me how to read someday I'd appreciate that."

 

Stephanie arrives at the cafe a few hours later, putting her cloak on the weapons rack and sitting down at a free table.

 

She finds Ali sitting at the table across from her, sipping a cup of tea in a bathrobe.
"M-mhuh? Um... g-good morning." She yawns.

 

"Good morning. Is the cafe open, or am I too early?" Stephanie asks respectfully.

 

"You're early... b-but I'll let it slide." She says between sips of tea, rubbing her eyes afterwards.

 

"Oh, I'm sorry. Should I come back when you're a little more awake?" Stephanie apologises.

 

"It's fine... menus are on the counter." She says, still weary.

 

"Oh, then is it alright if Angela comes too? We arranged to meet up here." Stephanie asks awkwardly.

 

"Yeah. I mean, I can't blame you. I overslept." She yawns, finishing her tea.

 

Stephanie heads over to the counter and grabs two menus, Angela soon arriving after.

"Uhm, h-hello!" Angela says nervously as she enters the cafe.

 

"Morning." Ali says, stretching. "I'm gonna go change, if you'll excuse me..."
She heads into the back rooms.

 

Angela sits down with Stephanie, and the pair read over the menus to decide what to order.

 

The menus are the same as Stephanie's first visit, suggesting the cafe primarily operates during lunchtime.
