Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Oh."

 

"But I thought skeletons were made of bones!" Abigail replies.

I take a few steps toward Abigail's lava pool.

"Howdy, Stranger!" Abigail says, turning to Vei.

"I'm flowey the flower." I mutter under my breath, grinning at Abigail.

 

"I could say the same."
"What happened? You're not usually this on-edge. Also, EoI."
"You just saved yourself another lecture on knocking out our daughter. Anyhow, fine. I'll restart.
I'm Vei, Ihra's mother. Don't mind the weaponry. Or do, if you threaten her."
She flashes a glare at Aj.

 

I'm about to reply to Abigail, but then I hear what AJ says, and just put my cup on the ground and burst into laughter. I fall on the ground, rolling in laughter. "Ha! Ha! Reminds me of that time I was told something about a flower stealing souls!"

I attempt to stand, but stumble from the laughter and face plant on the ground. I try again, and this time, I manage to stand up and say "Hello, I am Sir Robert of Greenhill Stronghold, Ex-Captain. Pleasure to meet you." Without laughing. I extend my hand for a hand shake.

 

You notice she's holding twin-blades. She sticks one in the ground before proceeding with the handshake.
Her eyes give off the same fog Rineth's do. Her crimson robe looks slightly stained.
"Same."

 

Abigail smiles at me, "I have no quarrel with your daughter, unlike Stabs McGee over here." Abigail says, gesturing to me with a skeletal hand.

I smile awkwardly.

"What a horrible monster, torturing a poor, innocent child." I say in a kind voice, before laughing. I end up falling into Abigail's pool of lava.

"If you don't stop messing around, you're gonna have a bad time." Abigail says, causing the lava to throw me out of the pool.

A small, yellow flower blooms near Artemis' flower.

 

"Enough." Vei grumbles.
Your vision blurs.
Riihs looks at you awkwardly.
"You have things to do. Get them done."
She picks up Ihra's staff, recites a brief chant, than slams it into the ground. Ihra jumps awake.
"Can you no-AAAUGH! Uh... oh. Hi mother."

 

"Welcome back to the world of the awake." Abigail says, making sure only her head is visible.

I rub my eyes, annoyed.

 

"You're alive... whew."
"Abigail, right? You want my daughter to speed up your healing, or do you want to let time run its course?"
"Wait... She's alive, isn't she?"
"Go stay with Rineth."
"Yes, mother."

 

"I'd rather let the lava do it's thing, I don't think she could do all to much without deforming me. It's a complicated process; unlike sealing up a wound," Abigail says, "Plus, I think I'd probably scare her with my current appearance."

"I'm not sure, maybe you could give her a Skele-Hug?" I say, grinning.

"Well, yes, that sounds like a great idea! If I possibly want to make her faint." Abigail says sarcastically.

 

I laugh, and then pack my things.

"Everyone, I am going to meditate. This might take anywhere from a few hours to a day. It is important I am not injured while meditating. If we need to go somewhere, please find a way to take me with you. If you cannot, bring me to my stronghold. Riihs knows where it is. Tell them that I am meditating." I then start having another fit of coughs, and this time I unconsciously draw my sword and slash it at the air. I sheath my sword and shake my head, waking up from my trance. I walk over to an open area and take a seat.

OOC: I won't be able to get on for Thursday to Sunday, so I'm setting up a lore way for me to be absent.

 

"How long?" Vei's tomes start to spin.

Riihs and Rineth take you back to the fortress.

OOC: Thanks for letting me know.

 

"Probably a while; though I can feel some of my organs beginning to slot into place." Abigail says calmly.

"Ewww!" I say in disgust.

Abigail and I wave goodbye.

OOC: See ya!

 

"Yes... that makes sense. Let's go over to them."
I fly towards the creature and its rider.

 

The quadruped beast looks up at you uneasily. It steps back, and its rider climbs up on its head, looking at you.

"Where'd you get those bracelets?" She shouts.

"Great. I'll just cut that amount of time by nine..."
There's a distortion around the lava pool.
Abigail's healing speeds up drastically.

 

Abigail dives down into her lava pool.

After a short while, she comes up again, climbing out of the pool. In addition to not being skeletal anymore, she wears dark blue jeans, black boots and a long-sleeved red shirt with an orange flame symbol on it.

"Thanks, being confined to that pool was getting rather tedious." She says, smiling and putting her hands in her pockets.

 

"Just proving the worth of my people."

 

Abigail smiles, "You sound like I'm some kind of genocidal demon who needs evidence your race is worth sparing." She says.

"Speaking of genocidal demons..." I say, pointing at Artemis' Flower.

The flower seems to be getting ready to bloom.

"Little Ms. Genocide is awake! Back in the lava!" Abigail says, grabbing me and jumping back into her lava pool. We both disappear below the surface.

The flower's petals begin to open.

 

"Keila gave them to us. I assume you are the third Daughter of Storms? I am Eras, God of Darkness and protector of the Darklands kingdom."

 

"Ihra, be wary."
"If we need to, I could kill her."

"Yep, and my buddy here is Maxie! We saw the mountain collapse, and I figured it'd make a decent meal for him. I hope we didn't cause the collapse... We were just looking to get through the mountains."
