Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Become a shadow crystal. If that cannot be studied, then you are fake."

"Huh? What battle?"

"I heard that!"

 

"What? I've heard stories about things like this. One party does something, the other one gets mad, and a long while later, the parties are hellbent on fighting each other. That's all."

 

"The final battle against the Hive Master. Unless you were-oh, I see."

 

The elite does as told, their body collapsing into a Shadow crystal that clinks onto the floor.

 

"Oh... yeah. I guess those stories have to base themselves off of something, though."

"No... I have a feeling that's pretty far off."

The creature tries running tests on the shadow crystal.

 

It's a Shadow crystal, pretty generic. There's not all too much to learn from it apart from the fact it's a crystal with dark energy.

 

"Ah, I see. So what's everyone really doing now?"

 

The machine looks for the soul of the shadow within the crystal, seeing if it can now be studied.
"Fair warning, if you can't produce sufficient results, you can't leave. Ever."

 

"They do. It's just how creatures think sometimes. No middle ground can be present if no one takes action, and no one can take action because they feel no middle ground."

 

"I really don't know. I let everyone run their own op."

"That... makes an eery amount of sense."

 

A soul seems to pop into existence. It's pretty generic. There's not all much to learn from it apart from it's a soul and it belongs to a Shadow.

 

"It should. I was made to be a better human. I know a lot about them."

 

"Stop hiding bits of yourself from me." The creature growls, annoyed.

"Made? Gah, I knew something was off about you..."

 

"Alright then. Would you have any realms you would recommend for me to explore and maybe set a colony up in?"

 

"You mean, other than the fact that I have no eyeballs?"

 

There doesn't seem to be anything being hidden, everything that the machines can study, they are. The Shadow crystal is just as generic as they come.

 

"I don't know... there's either a lot of stability or very defined borders in the realms I've opened."

"You never showed me your face. Or at least, I hadn't looked."

 

"Fair enough."

 

"So, you can come out. I have good news abd bad news for you."

"Just a little longer, robot..."

 

The stealth elite reforms incredibly quickly.

"What is it?" The elite asks.
