Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The stealth elite never gives, her intentions obvious: Retrieve the crystal.

 

"Yeah..."
I say, walking forward and looking around at items that people are selling.

 

"I will make a deal; I will go and get the crystal, which isn't here, if you let me study you. Not control, but study."

Everything from weapons, bug parts, armor, and food to clothes and toys.

 

"Give me the crystal first." The stealth elite says.

 

"You can't escape here anyways until I release you, so why not? The crystal won't work here anyways." They say. "But, do we have a deal?"

 

I look at the bug parts, a bit confused.

 

"Give me the crystal first." The stealth elite says, her eyes narrowing.

 

"No agreement, and I destroy it in front of you."

They seem to be just butchered mantis and raptor bits, along with talons and blades.

 

"Very well. You may study me after I am given the crystal." The stealth elite says.

 

"How about this; I give you the crystal, and then give the magic back it had once I'm done?"

 

"No deal. Give me the crystal with it's magic, and I shall let you study me." The stealth elite says.

 

"If the roles were reversed, would you take the deal? If not, why should I?"

 

"Do you think they eat the bug parts?"
I ask Rineth quietly.

 

"I would." The stealth elite says.

 

"Don't lie."

"Maybe."

 

"I'm not. We're both at a stalemate." The stealth elite says.

 

I nod, looking around at the food items.

 

"Okay... only if you let us study you until we gather sufficiently acceptable results. You will be trapped here with me until then."

It all seems to be common food items. Bread, milk...

 

I look around at the armor, seeing if it's anything special.

 

Most of it seems to be bug exoskeleton and raptor talon armor, all of them seeming to be more of a hunting trophy than anything.
