Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The stealth elite pretends to act weaker to humour the dark being, before just continuing to smirk.


"They know. The group that was sent with a fake version of you reported back to them about the situation." The doctor says.

 

The dark being lets the dark orbs charge.
"Your arrogance will be your downfall, as it will be his..."


"W-what?!"

 

The stealth elite just watches the dark orbs, seeming to almost get bored of waiting.


"A fake version of you apparently tried to attack the forest guardian of the group that was sent, luckily nobody got hurt." The doctor says.

 

They keep charging, their power suddenly paradoxical.


"S-sent for what?" Ali asks, confused.

 

The stealth elite yawns.


"To repair your cafe," The doctor says, turning to leave, "I'll go retrieve the palace cat for you."

The doctor leaves Ali in her room, closing the door behind him.

 

The stealth elite's vision disappears entirely.
"Any last words?"


"Wait, when did you push me back i-" She gets cut off by the door.

 

"Don't bite off more than you can chew." The stealth elite says, crossing her arms.


A while later, Ali's door opens slightly, and a black cat walks in.

 

"You will cease to exist in seven seconds. Be glad your death will be painless."


"O-onyx... w-what the hell is g-going on?" Ali asks, tearing up.

 

"Do it. Come on." The stealth elite taunts.


Onyx rubs up against Ali, concerned, trying to comfort her.

 

"Oh, for fuck's sake. Mind control takes a while, give it a minute!" The creature says, annoyed.


"W-why me... why did h-he have to use Ali t-to get back at A-aj?" She sobs.

 

"You can't mind control me, dumbass." The stealth elite says.

Surprisingly enough, the creature can't seem to mind control the stealth elite, somehow. It can't detect a block or anything causing a resistance, it simply cannot mind control her.


Onyx jumps up on Ali's bed, stretching out and purring.

 

"Oh, I know. You can't escape and you cannot contact any outside help. You, however, are en route to our lab. We'll take you apart cell by cell and study you. If there's anything we like, we'll clone it and incorporate it in our soldiers." They explain. "We don't need you intact. We don't need bargains. So, if you don't mind, I am ready to deconstruct you. Are you sure you don't want to say anything before you're gone?"


Ali pets her, crying.

 

"What would last words be?" The stealth elite asks, walking over to the creature, getting within range of even a short range attack.


Onyx purrs, rubbing against Ali's hand.

 

Seems the creature's the only thing they can see.
"What we'd remember you by. We keep a record of the last words of those we capture. It's only fair we keep some remembrance of their former selves."


"Onyx... w-what do I do?"

 

The stealth elite grabs the creature by the neck, managing to grip it perfectly, even remotely through an illusion. The creature starts to feel weaker as the grip tightens.


Onyx just gives Ali a confused look, clearly not sure what to do, before going back to purring and enjoying being pet.

 

The grip does nothing to their fluid body.
The stealth elite begins to find their body responding less to what they want it to do.
"You sure you don't want to put anything on the wall?"


"Please, come on... t-there has to be some reason..."

 

The stealth elite pauses for a second, their eyes dimming for a moment, before they simply drink the creature.


Onyx just lies down on her side.

 

They can't. They aren't strong enough for that.


Ali sighs.
"It's hard to talk to you like this."

 

The stealth elite possesses the creature, their strength overwhelmingly strong, able to easily take over the creature.


Onyx starts playing with the covers on Ali's bed.

 

That doesn't seem to be the case in the slightest. Even the attempt hurts like hell.

Eight singularities tear at the elite, the creature unaffected.


Ali sighs.
"Don't knock everything off, please."
