Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

This time, a few other raptors run by, a few stopping and looking at the brush suspiciously before continuing on.

"It's okay. I'll look for Onyx again. How do I get to the medical place?"

It has been burned for about a month, by your judgement.

 

I keep silent, but keep watching.

 

The other raptors eventually leave, the one you're following glancing around and soon darting off ahead.

 

"That's odd...those voices." I say, and then think for a moment. I look around the area for any signs of anyone other than me being around lately.

 

There doesn't seem to be any significant trace of anyone nearby, and the voices are completely gone now.

 

I dash off after him, keeping watch of where he's going.

 

"Hold on, I'll show you." The Shadow says, putting his mop in his bucket of water before heading into the elevator with Ali. The Shadow quickly turns the dials, not seeming to think about it, before stopping himself at the final centre dial.

"Just turn this dial downward when you're ready to go." The Shadow says, tapping the centre dial and stepping out of the elevator.

 

He keeps his pace for a while, only slowing down after about twenty minutes.
"Okay. Keep going straight, and you'll be there. However, you've got something that now belongs to me."

"Alright, thanks!" Ali says, turning the dial.

 

Ali is teleported to the medical ward, a few people waiting around to be seen by a doctor.

 

Doubting, I look strait to see if the kingdom's visible.

 

Ali glances around for Onyx before looking in the book for the combination to the barracks.

There's a giant wall ahead of you off a bit in the distance.
"My end of the deal is done."

 

Onyx is nowhere to be seen, though Ali finds the barracks combination rather easily, the page number stated on the second page of the book.

 

"Sorry to break your heart, lizard fellow, but all you've shown me is a wall."
I point out, keeping the armor.

 

She turns to that dial combo and hopes it works.

"You check behind that wall, smartass." He sneers. "If you scammed me, you'll come to regret the location of my territory."

 

"I'm not trying to scam you..."
I say, looking upwards for Rineth.
"But if I fly up at all you'll think I have."

 

The elevator doesn't teleport Ali immediately, pausing for a moment before teleporting her outside of the barracks, groups of soldiers training on dummies outside as generals watch over them.

 

Rineth seems to be circling the wall, giving you an okay signal from above.
"I'm not either, but if you've got the nerve to take the one nice thing I've done against me, you're gonna become my armor."

Ali looks around for anyone mobilizing.

 

OOC: Uh, what?

 

I nod back to Rineth.
"Well, you've kept your part of the deal, it seems. Here you go."
I say, placing the armor on the ground and backing away.

 

Ali's looking to see if anyone's getting ready to fulfill her request.

He takes it, scans it for any traps, then slips into it.
"Hmm... okay. We'll be on our way.
...Thanks."
