Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"p-pawbably, but katie and abigail are nice!" Onyx says nervously, "t-they pet me, a-and one time a-abigail brought me a cooked fish!"

Onyx starts to drool, thinking about fish.

 

Rineth takes a minute before he returns, landing near you.
"I couldn't see it from above."

"They killed people. Innocent people. We can't just let that slide." Ali says, sad.

 

"Ran into this raptor fellow, said they knew where it was and would tell me for armor, but once I got close to inspect what size would fit them, they got mad and ran off."
I relay to Rineth.

 

"b-but...they wouldnt kill innocent people! they only kill people who are evil!" Onyx says, tears forming in her cat-like eyes.

 

"Give them something to mark measurements on."

"Four parents and two kids were killed in cold blood." Ali says, gravely serious.

 

"n-no! they w-wouldnt kill...they couldnt have done!" Onyx says, starting to cry.

 

"I'm not entirely sure where they are now, and they don't trust me at all."
I say, tapping the ground with my foot to check its hardness.
"I could try, but it might be easier just to find someone else."

 

"They did and there were witnesses."

"Maybe Crystal could get the job done?"

 

Onyx curls back up, sobbing.

 

"It'll be okay... I hope."

 

"p-please d-don't hurt my f-furiends..." Onyx pleads through tears.

 

"We won't hurt them unless they give us no choice..."

 

"So we go back, get Crystal, and have him talk to the raptor and say, 'good evening sir, may I please have your measurements?'"
I ask.

 

"See if you can get him to talk again. Ask him to leave the measurements on the ground." Rineth suggests.

 

Onyx just sobs, curled up, her ears drooped and her tail flat.

 

"Alright, I'll see if I can find him."
I say, taking off over the throats again, looking around.

 

Ali pets Onyx.

They're not far.
"Back again?"

 

Onyx seems to calm down a bit from being pet, deciding to clinb out from under the table and hug Ali to comfort herself.

 

"You're the one who ran off."
I comment.

 

"It'll be okay... I-I just pray that nobody else will get hurt..." She whispers, hugging Onyx back.

"To another part of my territory, yes." They snap.
