Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

It's extremely heavy and seems unwieldy for a sword. However, it has thousands of pieces instead of being one solid blade.

The chimera presses a button that sounds a buzzer for a second.

 

Abigail switches the crystals in her gauntlets as she puts the sword back, picking up a bow to observe.

 

It's equally as heavy and crafted in a similar manner; many pieces of metal instead of one.
It also lacks a bowstring.

The chimera walks to the center of the room and opens up a hologram.
"Updated location; Earth. Alternate Reality." It parrots, turning to leave.

 

"What are you doing?" Abigail asks, flying down to the Chimera.

 

"Finding Master." It says, opening the doors and starting the countdown as it leaves.

 

Abigail flies through the doors quickly.

"I'm from Earth." Abigail says.

 

"Well, Master 2 was there as her last recorded location."

 

"Got any names related to 'Master 2'?" Abigail asks.

 

"You do not have clearance for that information." It says, heading out of the vault.

 

Abigail follows, quickly switching through crystals in her gauntlets.

"C'mon, c'mon! I've gotta have one..." Abigail says to herself as she cycles through the wheel.

Abigail's face lights up as she finds a light green crystal with what appears to be yellow cracks on it.

"What if I were to hack you?" Abigail asks.

 

The chimera's tail turns into a needler.
"I would shoot you. With this, the rocket launcher, or the cryobeam. Or all, before jumping on you."

 

"What if I were to disable those?" Abigail asks.

 

A needle causes Abigail to bleed, though it's only a small prick in her wrist that didn't hit any blood vessels.
"Then I would fire more than once." It says, continuing on.

 

"And how do you know you're not already being hacked?" Abigail asks, following as she pulls the needle out.

 

The chimera falls silent.
"Because you can't hack a puppet." Sapphire says.
"Master 2, it says you are on Earth."
"Tracker's on my mask, which someone is keeping in a closet."

 

"Nice to see you too, Sapphire." Abigail says smugly.

 

"What were you doing with my old prototype? I didn't know it was still in use." She says, petting the chimera without being affected by the distortion field.

 

"It was in Xlentia's vault," Abigail says, "I'm thinking about raiding it for some diamonds and gold."

 

Sapphire sighs.
"Abigail, you're a fucking idiot. One, you're not even strong enough to lift one of the coins in there. Two, you said that in front of half of the guards."

 

"I'm just joking, Saph," Abigail says, grinning, "You seriously think I stand a chance at stealing even a dust particle from that place?"

"Also if you continue your rudeness I'll add another day to the time until you get your mask back." Abigail says, offended.
