Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"A gathering of people." Abigail says, sighing.

 

"That sounds detrimental to resisting extermination."

 

"People do it for fun. Something I assume you haven't heard of?" Abigail asks.

 

"If fun is related to parties, then it also sounds detrimental to survival."

 

"Having fun living such a boring life?" Abigail asks, "Oh, sorry, I mean HAVING EFFICIENT SURVIVAL TECHNIQUES IN YOUR RUNTIME. BEEP BOOP?"

 

"If this qualifies as fun, then I will return to Master for repairs." The chimera says.

 

Abigail thinks for a moment, "Yeah, I'm having the time of my life. I'll come with you to Master so I can tell them about your problems and how to fix them. I code, so I should be able to help." She says, smiling innocently.

 

The chimera pauses.
"You lack the clearance to alter my code. Attempts will result in spiritual dismemberment." It utters before crawling along the ceiling and what appears to be deeper into the vault.

 

"I won't alter your code directly. I'll just know what it means and offer advice." Abigail says, flying after the chimera.

 

The chimera doesn't respond, stopping at a pair of locked blast doors.
"Repairs requested." It says.
The doors open, and a countdown timer suggests that Abigail shouldn't be too far behind it.

 

Abigail quickly flies through after the chimera, narrowly avoiding bumping into it.

 

Inside are thousands of bots and parts, yet it seems incredibly quiet and inactive.
"Master?" The chimera calls, scanning the room.

 

Abigail decides to scan the room too, mainly interested in anything eyecatching or dangerous.

 

Ninety five percent of the things in the room would qualify as dangerous, even perhaps of concern to a god.
"Master missing... scanning for last known location..." The chimera utters, a wider scan beam sweeping around it.

 

Abigail looks around for anything she might be able to use herself, curious.

 

Ok Im sorry for this im gonna interject, please dont kill me... But is this the longest thread on the forums

 

Many things could be considered useful. Swords, bows, staffs, prosthetic limbs... whoever worked here could hold their own against the engineers at the Shadow Palace.

Yeah, it's... something. Other than a pain to try and back up on my laptop. (Though it most certainly is that)

 

Noticing the wide array of weapons, Abigail looks for any claws she might be able to use.

 

There are no claws, unfortunately.

"Last known location; Xlentia's chambers." The chimera says, seeming stumped. "Though... not executed."

 

Abigail flies up to one of the swords, picking it up to test out its weight.
