Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Rineth cleaves off the spike, Linoa rushing straight at Crystal with her staff shortly after.

 

"Ah, shit!" Shadow Stephanie says, lifting herself off the 'floor' of Xlentia's stomach and keeping herself in the air, "Don't freaking eat me!"


"Are you ok?" I ask, hugging back, a little concerned.

 

"I warned you that if you mess with my insides, problems happen!"


"Aj, what the hell are you doing?" Xlentia asks.

Whatever you're hugging, it's trying not to let go.

 

Crystal yelps, before nearly-combusting, spreading fire, and blocking vision. What's visible of him seemingly shifts into something long and thin, and tries to move away from the edge of the dome.

 

"I just wanted to chill and have a drink!" Shadow Stephanie says.


"There's someone inside your heart. I don't know who or what they are, all I can really see is that they have a blue and pink robe and really just want to hug me." I say.

 

Rineth and Linoa step back and regroup, giving Crystal time to reposition.

"Well I'm sorry my body doesn't approve!"


"Can't you see in darkness?" Xlentia asks. "If they're just floating there, why don't you just remove the foreign object from my heart?"

 

"We need to sort something out so I can chill in here." Shadow Stephanie says.


"Right, good point." I say, trying to pull whoever's inside Xlentia's heart out.

 

"You have an entire palace for chilling. This is just weird."


They're definitely anchored. You end up pulling yourself closer to them.
"Agh, okay, don't do that." Xlentia grimaces. "Just... figure out who the hell is in my heart."

 

He does, shifting into his normal, upright position. He looks shorter, though, and is obviously exhausted.

 

"Well, a weird girl's gotta have a weird place to chill!" Shadow Stephanie says, clearly still hyper.


"Who are you? What are you doing here?" I ask slowly, before asking again in multiple different languages and tongues, even trying my best at some draconian for the hell of it, albeit butchering it in the process.

 

They both pause.
"We need to reset?"

"My mouth's weird enough!"


They feel around for your torso before trying to scratch a reply into your shadow body.

 

"Yeah, that'd be good."
Crystal says, seemingly a little bit better now that he's gotta a second or two.

 

"Ooh! Ooh! What if I were to like, invite possible boyfriends into your stomach to interview them! That'd be cool!" Shadow Stephanie says.


My body reforms in the darkness, however I take note of the letters they scratch, forming words in my mind.

 

"I'm going to spit you out if you keep this up. Somehow."

The dome resets.
"Sorry." Rineth says.

 

"It's fine, I'm okay."
Crystal says, back to his normal height.
"We were in a battle, that's what happens."
Crystal's still a little tense, however.

 

"Aww, you wouldn't do that to your best friend Stephanie, would you?" Shadow Stephanie asks, hugging the wall of Xlentia's stomach.


"Holy shit, Ihra!?" I exclaim, wrapping my arms fully around Ihra and hugging her tightly, but not too tight.

 

It rumbles, and more acid splashes in.
"I TOLD YOU NOT TO DISTURB MY INSIDES!"


She hugs you back, albeit still moving slowly and weakly.
"Aj, I don't care about whoever it is right now, you need to get out before you give me a heart attack." Xlentia groans.

"Let me know if you're ready to go again." He says, sitting down and meditating.

 

Shadow Stephanie screams, flying up to the top of Xlentia's stomach.

"Sorry sorry sorry sorry!" Shadow Stephanie apologises.


"I-I can't." I say, holding on to Ihra.

 

"Okay. Okay, I will."
He says, just standing still, deciding to not move.

 

"I don't think my instincts care about the apologies, though I forgive you."


"What do you mean, you can't? Did they tie you up to themself?"

The others do similar, Muffy breaking the silence with a "Mrow." as she leaves the training room.
