They stop.
"Huh?"
"Hey, Thirteen. Need something?"
"Honey, Crystal's waiting. Come on."

 

"Headed off to the training room?"
I assume, but ask to make sure.

 

"Yeah." Rineth says.
Linoa opts to just keep moving.

 

"Huh. I guess Abigail's fear of Rineth was well planted." I say, looking at Xlentia's teeth.

"You're being weird, Aj!" Shadow Stephanie says.

"Come be weird with me!" I say.

"Wha-I'm not flying into Xlentia's mouth to sit with you and be weird. That's just super fucking weird, dude." Shadow Stephanie says, sounding concerned.

Abigail hugs back, holding on for a while.

"I'm sorry, Crystal. I shouldn't have made your shapeshifting awkward." Abigail says solemnly.

 

"I'll meet you guys there. Don't feel like blasting my way through the halls right now."

 

The gaps between her teeth/fangs are wide enough that Rineth could fit through...

On the outside, it looks like Xlentia's having a food coma.

"Alright. See you soon." Rineth says, sprinting off.

 

"It's fine. Don't fuss yourself up about it, okay?"
Crystal asks, still holding on.

I simply continue walking, taking my time.

Crystal sees Linoa and Rineth run in.
"Sorry, hon. Everyone's out today, it seems. You'll have to make do with just us." She says, out of breath as Rineth just sighs.

 

Shadow Stephanie contemplates for a while, before flying to me.

"I'm only here so you don't do something stupid like you always do when you're weird." Shadow Stephanie says.

"Like what?" I ask, smirking.

"I don't know, flying down Xlentia's throat or something?" Shadow Stephanie says.

"Ha! You suggested it! You're the weird one!" I say.

"...How much sugar did you eat?" Shadow Stephanie asks after a short pause.

"A bit." I say.

"You clearly ate more than a bit, dude." Shadow Stephanie says.

"I wonder if people could go for tours in Xlentia's mouth. Like, you can see out, maybe she'd act as some kind of tour dragon?" I ponder.

"...Clearly more than a bit." Shadow Stephanie says, certainty in her tone.

"Heh...thanks me." Abigail says, smiling and calming down.

 

"I used to do that when I was a fledgeling goddess." She says telepathically to you and Shadow Stephanie.

 

"Not too far from here, there's a tribal village where everyone is obsessed with blood. Not too far from there lives a woman named Mera who uses blood in her magic. Perhaps she would know who did this."

 

"See? Therefore I'm not being weird right now. I made a valid suggestion." I say, crossing my arms.

"He's being weird right now, right?" Shadow Stephanie asks Xlentia.

 

"No problem."
Crystal says, smiling, and releasing the hug, only to notice Linoa and Rineth.

Crystal still in Abigail-form, stops hugging Abigail and looks at Linoa.
"Oh... uh, that's okay."

"Oh...hey guys." Abigail says, surprised to see Linoa and Rineth, adjusting her bikini slightly.

 

"Could you ask her? I... know what tribe you're talking about."

"Shut up and figure out why my body won't move, if you would be so kind as to listen to me right now." She groans telepathicaly.

"The hell did I miss?"
"Lin, you sort of took five and a half hours."
"WHAT?"

Linoa just glances at her.

"Hi." Rineth says, not paying much attention to Abigail.

 

"Did you eat too much sugar?" I ask.

"Blame me all you want but my 'weird suggestion' might actually be key here." Shadow Stephanie says flatly, getting up and heading to the back of Xlentia's mouth.

"You're not serious, are you? Are you sure this is even safe?" I ask, sounding genuinely concerned.

"Is this safe, Xlentia?" Shadow Stephanie asks.


Abigail just sort of stays where she is, looking a little nervous from the quietness.

 

"Is what safe? I only know where you are if you're touching my tongue or my mouth. Please don't go in my throat."

 

"It's nothing, don't worry about it."
Crystal is quick to say, changing back to his regular self.

 

"That's what I was planning, considering the fact that I don't think we can really do much to help you from the outside if you're in a coma or something. Why don't you want us to go in your throat?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

"You're being weird, Stephanie." I say.

"I swear to god I will deck you in the face with a chair if you start pulling this shit on me. You're the one who wanted to give Xlentia copius amounts of sugar." Shadow Stephanie says, angered.

"Geez, calm down. You're the one who suggested she have sugar in the first place." I say.

"Niether of us are in the right here. You could at least stop being so hyped up on sugar." Shadow Stephanie says flatly.

 

"I'd throw up." Xlentia says hesitantly. "And I don't mean stomach acid. I mean the everywhere in front of me would get completely razed."

"So... ready?"
