OOC: Yup, hee hee.

"Do you think those draconians are going to show up to ruin our fun?" Artemis asks, turning to me.

"I doubt it, but you never know with them. Nyre seems to be the one who shows up more often though." I respond.

"Nyre?" Abigail asks, "By any chance is he weak to water?"

"You need to stop playing that game, Abigail." Artemis says.

"Have we even tried throwing water at him? Though maybe Abigail could just burn him to pieces." I say, curious.

"That depends, if he's what I think he is, he'd be rather resistant to fire. Dragons tend to have that as a normal thing." Abigail replies.

"He's probably immune to earth-based attacks too." I say, smiling at Abigail.

Abigail and I high five, splashing a little lava around. Artemis just puts her hand to her head in exhaustion.

 

"I'm not sure what is going on either..."
Hythania says, "Everything is... well, it is hard to call it fine. But... let's just call it that anyway."
Idala still seems slightly upset.
I say, "Idala, what was wrong?"
"Didn't you recognise it? From anywhere before?"
"I can't recognise every Drakonshade I see, Idala."
"Not even the only one which might have a reason to come back into this world? Especially now?"
"I still don't know what you mean."
Idala shakes her head and sighs.
"I'm surprised. But anyway, what now?"
"Now that we killed the Drakonshade, we should probably find the others again."

 

"She has a point. There was a motive."
Xephyr inspects the corpse.

 

"It had a motive, but it isn't like a Drakonshade would-"
I turn back to Idala and stare at her for a few seconds.
"... would have been in captivity and then been freed by someone who is being active quite a lot right now."
She rolls her eyes.
"FINALLY, you worked it out. Yes, this was the one which Daras freed from captivity a long time ago. And no, he didn't ask it to be so hostile. It just hates everything... except Daras of course."
"At least we figured that out quickly... and that Daras wasn't responsible. Ok, let's go and find the others."
I fly into the air and go south again, in the direction in which I had last seen them. Idala follows me.
The wyvern has healed well enough that it can fly by now.

 

"So these 'Fragments of decay' nearly killed you both?" Abigail confirms.

"Yeah, except I ended up getting killed by someone I thought I could trust." I say, haunted by the event.

"Who killed you then?" Abigail asks, curious.

"You know that old wizard dude?" I say.

"I FREAKING KNEW HE WAS EVIL!" Abigail shouts, splashing lava around.

"He isn't e-" Artemis pauses, "He stabbed Aj in the back when he used up most of his magic and energy trying to protect Ihra. Seeing it through his eyes is rather disturbing." Artemis says, shaking a little.

"Right, I'm going to go give him a piece of my mind." Abigail says, getting up.

"Abigail calm down, you're not even decent." Artemis says.

Abigail looks at herself, before quickly dipping back into the lava, embarrassed.

"I still don't trust Luphyx anyway. Once a backstabber always a backstabber." I say, a little hatred in my words.

Abigail nods in agreement, "I'll keep an eye on him. Someone needs to look after you two if you're busy protecting Ihra." She says happily.

 

"Be wary who you speak of." Rineth's voice echoes.
"And if you try to pull the privacy card, well... I could show you an invasion of privacy. I can't turn a blind eye and keep you alive.

On that note, heads up- Nyre's nearby."

 

"Are you freaking serious!?" Abigail says, "So not only do we have a perverted dragon and a backstabbing wizard, we now have to deal with Nyre!?"

"Artemis, you totally jinxed it." I say, turning to Artemis.

"Let's go beat the heck out of Nyre then." Artemis says happily.

Artemis forms 3 wooden domes for us to get changed back into our clothes in; the three of us quickly run in to them, grabbing our stuff.

 

I tilt my head quizzically.
"Is there a game to be played?"

I grin.
"You deal."

 

Abigail steps out of her changing dome, fully armoured. She just gives you a suspicious, and curious, look; her visor covering her eyes.

Artemis and I step out of our respective domes shortly after, clothed once more.

"Hey Aj, do you still have those bombs?" Abigail asks.

I summon a large, black, spherical bomb in my hand, "You mean these?" I say, throwing the bomb to Abigail.

"Where's Nyre so I can shoot him?" Artemis asks, nocking an arrow.

 

"Call me perverted again and I'll bring you home cremated free of charge." He grumbles.
"Hurry up, he's still just watching us."

"Ah, glad you're still here." Nyre shouts.
"Hope you don't mind Round 2 coming so close to the first. Still got more cards to play?"

 

Abigail winks at Rineth, "I'd love to take you up on that offer sometime."

Abigail blasts off toward Nyre, lighting the bomb in the process. Her visor locks onto Nyre.

"Abigail you better not be doing something stupid!" Artemis shouts after her.

"KAMIKAZEEEEEEEEEE!" She screams, flying toward Nyre, lit bomb in her hands.

I cheer Abigail on.

 

OOC: You forgot me... unless you want me to just come back into the group.

 

Class period started before I had time, sorry. Getting to that.

"Wait, so Daras has a bunch of these things after us?"

"Ah, another pretty lady to play with. What do you bring to the table?"
A wall of plasma falls over Abigail and the bomb.
"I like me a good firefight..."

 

The bomb explodes in Abigail's hands as the wave of plasma hits. She seems rather surprised.

Strange images begin to appear on Abigail's visor, and it seems to outline Nyre.

"Heh, you're in my world now, Narr!" She says, before jetting back to Artemis and I.

"Quick, get me a glass of water!" She says to me.

"This isn't your stupid game Abigail, this is serious. He could easily kill us if you goof around."

"I know I know I know, I just really want to try this! I'll blast him with fire and stuff I just want to see what happens." She says.

I pass Abigail a glass of water.

Artemis sighs, firing a volley of arrows toward Nyre.

 

The arrows are met midair with crossbow bolts.
"Are you really trying this? Pfft, here. Come on up with the water. Free shot."

 

Abigail flies up to Nyre.

"CTHULHU!" She screams, splashing the glass of water over Nyre.

 

The water vaporizes the moment it comes in contact with him.
"The hell is her problem?"
A green pulse jets out from his claws, sending Abigail flying back towards you two.

 

"She's obsessed with this dumb video game!" Artemis shouts up.

Abigail lands between Artemis and I, yet immediately gets up.

"Playtime's over." She says with a serious tone, her visor changing and locking on to Nyre.

Abigail flies up a little and unleashes a barrage of fireballs, which home-in on Nyre.

Artemis aims her arrows through the fireballs, setting them on fire.

I disappear.

 

"Come on, you need more than two pair to beat me."
The fireballs splash off him, plasma eating away at the ground. The arrows fail to go through his robe.
"AJ ought to be more amusing than you, flameslinger."
