Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Crystal's silent for a few moments.
"...Thanks."
She says sheepishly, dropping Abigail's voice.

"A strange man indeed."

 

"The only thing I could understand less would be a paradox."

 

"Who the hell is your supplier!?" I ask, annoyed.

"I hope you realise Ruby was pretty horrible. She tried to seduce Aj even when she knew he and I were together." Artemis says, sounding slightly annoyed too.

"She almost killed me. I was barely alive after she attacked me. Had it not been for the fact she had to cross dimensions, I'd probably be dead right now." Shadow Stephanie says.

Abigail giggles, "Keep up the impression. You were doing really well!" She says happily.

 

"Which, he bares as well."

Crystal pauses for a second.
"Well, you got to kiss yourself."
She smiles, puting her hands on her hips.

 

"Yeah, I guess I did!" Abigail says, laughing as she waves her hair back with a swish of her head.

 

"Ruby. And yes, I know she's done terrible things. Do not act like we all haven't done terrible things. However..."
Sivius turns to Shadow Stephanie.
"She thought you were Aj. She thought he sent the Shadow Army, and she thought she was going to finish his life off..."
He pauses.
"...Whoever this Ihra is, they saved your life. Ruby owed her a favor... and she used it to make Ruby spare you."

"Ah, true. Maybe there really isn't anything more... confusing."

 

"S-She did?" Shadow Stephanie asks, shocked.

"Ihra was a wonderful person. Stephanie came to me a while ago seeing if she could try and gather magic to fuel a gigantic mage crystal from everyone in the city to see her revived." I say solemly.

"We all miss Ihra. She was very much a glue keeping our group together." Artemis says mournfully, uncaring about the fact her character just died in the game she was playing.

 

"Then why not seek out her return?" Sivius asks, tone suggesting it's a legitimate question.

 

"Well, if there is, we haven't seen it."

"What's the weirdest thing you can think of doing with yourself? Not that we have to do it, or anything, just wondering."
Crystal asks, curious.

 

"Very true."

 

I nod, focusing on how close ahead the portal room is.

 

"I've been informed of two very powerful artefacts in another realm my group and I may wish to retrieve. Since gathering a lot of magic in a giant mage crystal is..." Artemis pauses, seeming a little shaken.

"Artemis, are you alright?" I ask, putting a hand on Artemis' shoulder.

Artemis quickly turns to me, looking at me with an expression of shock and fear, before shaking it off after a moment.

"I-I'm fine..." Artemis says, sounding shaken, before hugging me.

"Probably making out with myself and getting intimate," Abigail says, thinking, "I guess we could do one of those two things..."

Abigail winks suggestively at Crystal.

 

Takes about a minute of silence before you get back.
"I know my way back from the desert. Thank you."

"Hey, you have me and others to help with the energy needed." He reassures.

 

"Y-Yeah..." Artemis says, still sounding shaken, "D-Do you think you could take over for me, Aj?"

"Sure thing," I say, smiling calmly at Artemis, "Since gathering a large amount of magic in a giant mage crystal, as well as acquiring a mage crystal large enough to store a ton of magic, is...hard, to say the least, we were thinking of going after these artefacts instead. Hopefully they'll be powerful enough to act as a replacement magic source."

 

"Maybe you should all talk to Xlentia about it. That's who you said this Ihra tried to save, right?" Sivius asks, clarifying.

 

"Yes, Ihra sacrificed herself to free her of the Hive Master's control," I say, "Though I recently ordered a set of armour for Xlentia to be made, which she's wearing now. Apparently the Hive Master managed to start regaining control over her, so I made a set of special armour to stop her from being mind controlled."

 

"Is that what she was bitching about on that planet you met me?" Sivius asks, turning to Shadow Stephanie.

 

"I believe so." Shadow Stephanie says.

"What was wrong with it?" I ask.

 

"Why don't you ask her? I couldn't understand much between the cursing and her ego." Sivius sighs.

 

"I shall." I say, putting my arm around Artemis, who's still rather shaken.
