Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"But like, a perfect shift of you."
Crystal asks.

 

"She ended up looking for me to amuse some robot while you were away. She then seemed lovestruck as she first saw me, but it took a little while for it to register with me."

"I don't think anyone is."

"That what and who?" Allen asks, confused.

 

"You mean like, colour and everything?" Abigail asks, sounding a little creeped out.

"Well, uh, you know what they say about love on first sight!" Shadow Stephanie says happily.

"That's actually kind of cute. I hope you two are happy together." Artemis says, smiling.

 

"Best for them, then."

"Yeah. Like looking in a mirror or something."
He says, looking at his arm as it shifts.

 

"Well...I trust you, so you can if you want." Abigail says nervously.

 

"I can't, don't worry. I'm still a rock, even if I shift."
He says, working on shifting his arm.
"I wouldn't want to make you feel weird anyways."

 

"I don't like the idea of someone copying me because I'm worried they'll try to take over my life and become me," Abigail says, "Though...I have wondered what it would be like to kiss myself..."

 

"That's a... specific thought."
Crystal says, looking back to Abigail. His left arm looks like hers, and his right quickly follows suit in becoming a mirror of Abigail's.

 

"Wow, that's pretty accurate." Abigail compliments, observing Crystal as he changes.

 

"Thanks!"
Crystal says, looking at Abigail's feet.
"Shifting's one of the first things I learned, so it kinda comes easy, especially with models. I'm not the best at figurines, though."

 

"You think I'm a model?" Abigail asks, flattered.

 

"Well, like... something that I can look at that makes it so I can shift better into that thing. But models are used for similar things, so yeah, I guess you are."
He says, working on his legs and feet, upwards.

 

"She's happy. I'm unsure if falling in love is a tactically sound thing, but I'm doing it anyways."

"Guess that helps his whole wandering deal. Nobody fucks with you, and you get to go where you want, when you want."

 

"Do you know if he's broken laws before?"
I ask, curious.

 

"Aw, Crystal! You're too kind." Abigail says, blushing.

"Falling in love isn't exactly problematic. It really helps to have someone around to watch your back." I say, smiling at Artemis, who smiles back.

 

"Thanks!"
He says happily, working on his thighs.
"I don't think I'm kind all the time though."

 

"You can't always be nice all the time, but you shouldn't feel bad about it. It's sort of a part of having emotions," Abigail says, looking at her own legs and thighs before at Crystals, "I can see what you meant by mirror now."

 

"Plenty. He's like a wandering convict. He's a murderer, thief, and a spreader of heresy. However, he's equally a hero."

Sivius nods, eyes flashing twilight.
"In that case, it would've been wise I'd have done so earlier."
He turns to Shadow Stephanie.
"I want to keep honest; I am a criminal as much as a hero. For every life I have saved I have taken, and for every relic returned I have stole. If you still accept me despite that, then I would be happy to call you my love and my partner."

 

"Of course I can, Sivius!" Shadow Stephanie says, hugging Sivius.

"You're speaking to the queen of the race of 'genocidal demons'. We really don't care if you're a murderer and thief, because we sort of are." I say casually, "Just...don't steal our stuff."

 

"Yeah, I thought he might've been. He does seem above any law, however."

"If it's weird for you, just tell me to stop, okay? I don't want to upset you."
Crystal says, moving up to alter the hips and waist.
