"Gods have been spoken to. All of them that concern me have been appeased. No more interruptions during... us time." He says, kissing her.

"I mean... the bigger the being, the bigger the home, right? A cave that holds one dragon could hold several humans."

 

"Or, thousands, depending on the dragon."
I say, smiling.

 

"In this case, maybe even millions."

 

"A bunch of scientists fainted when they saw me. Remember when I said they thought I was hot?" Abigail asks, smiling.

"Oooooooh shit!" I cheer as I play my game.

Shadow Stephanie blushes a deep red.

"U-Uhm, sure! Where should we go, darling?" Shadow Stephanie says, smiling, overcome with a mix of surprise, love and excitement.

 

"I figured I'd stay a bit. If I'm going to be with you for a while, shouldn't I meet your friends?" He asks.

 

I nod, agreeing.
"If you don't mind more questions, how many of you are in that village of yours?"

"Yeah... oohhh."
Crystal realizes.

 

"Oh, sure! Uhm, this is Artemis and Aj." Shadow Stephanie says, pointing to Artemis and I.

"Hello again." Artemis says, smiling and giving a wave.

"Sup." I say, still upside down.

"I know, right?" Abigail says, smiling, "It's like those guys have never seen a beautiful girl like me before."

 

"Well, most are hermits, so I'm not too surprised."
He says, smiling.

 

Abigail laughs, "At least they were kind enough to wrap me in a towel to keep me warm. Though honestly, I think they just did that so they wouln't have to look at my hot body." She says, smiling.

 

"Maybe, maybe not. Although, keeping a fire guardian warm seems like the least of anyone's problems."

 

"Exactly. We're fire guardians, not room temperature guardians!" Abigail says happily, "You're really nice to hang with, Crystal."

 

Crystal laughs, and smiles.
"Thanks."

 

"So how have things been with you?" Abigail asks, smiling.

 

"Pretty good. Linoa's gonna teach me stuff about different runes. Once she gets back, at least."

 

"Yeah, I saw her bolting out of here, scared the hell out of me. Where'd she go?" Abigail asks.

 

"To get people that aren't cats, hopefully."

 

I check on Allen.

 

He seems to be looking around for you.
"Oh, there you are! I was going to ask if you were ready for me to head to the throne room. I guess that answer's yes?"

"Nice to meet you, Aj, and thank you again, Artemis."
