"You want to live a true life, I take it?" Sivius asks. "No help from Gaia?"

 

Fia nods.

"Praecantatia said it's safer for me this way, but I want to know what it feels like to...feel," Fia says, sighing as she runs her hand through the grass again, "She said she didn't think it would be possible for Gaia to create me."

 

"It is safer. In your current form, you will not die. It will be a one way road; if you embrace life, you must accept it will end and you will become nothing but a memory. If not, then you are confined to your bounds." He warns.

 

"I know...it is fun to travel through the systems I guess," Fia says, lightening up slightly, "Praecantatia said I was her favourite creation, too. And, I do need to greet any quarantined beings, and help out Praecantatia with her computers."

 

"It's fine, I'm just pointing it out."

Crystal stops working on the mini-Muffy, and turns towards Abigail.
"Hey! What're you up to?"

 

Sivius turns away.
"Expect a gift from me. Not soon, but eventually." He says before heading back to the Shadow Realm.

"I know, I know..."

Muffy pokes at the model of her.

 

"I just went to the lab to be examined. They all thought I was pretty hot." Abigail says, winking.

Sivius walks through Fia's holographic hands as she hugs him from behind.

"Thank you." Fia says, her tone happier.

 

"How many places have you been to?"
I inquire.

It doesn't move, and it's a solid rock, just like Crystal. It seems to be a version of Muffy, not quite exactly perfect.

 

"Hope you can aim." Is his last words before the portal shuts.

Looking tired, he heads back to the Shadow Palace gate.
"Queen still here?" He asks.

"Haven't been counting." He admits.

Muffy looks at her tail, worried the replica is resemblant of herself.

 

The guards nod, opening the gates for Sivius.

 

"Why did you go?"
Crystal asks, more focused on the 'going to the lab' aspect of her sentence.

 

"Library still?" He asks, entering.

 

"Any place like this?"
I ask, getting to the point.

It is, but Crystal seems too busy with Abigail to notice Muffy's worry.

 

"Apparently they can revive me easier if they examine me. Just in case I die." Abigail says happily.

"Gaming room." The guard says.

 

"Nope."

Muffy bats the replica around a bit, bored.

"Thanks."
Sivius makes a beeline for the game room.

 

Once Sivius enters the game room, he can see Artemis, myself and Shadow Stephanie. I seem to be playing a game upside down, to deal with the game itself being flipped, while Artemis and Shadow Stephanie watch.

Shadow Stephanie's face lights up when she sees Sivius, and she immediately gets up and hugs him.

"Hey, Siv!" Shadow Stephanie says happily.

 

"Largest place?"

"Oh, yeah. Thirteen and I got a sample of what that's like."
He says, then turns towards Muffy.

"Just wait until Linoa gets back, okay?"

 

"I'm glad you didn't faint when you saw me, by the way. While it's pretty flattering, it's hard to talk to people who are unconscious." Abigail says, sounding slightly annoyed.

 

"I'm good to go." He says, smiling.

"By far. This is like a continent, if they only held one building."

"Mrow."

 

"Hm?" Shadow Stephanie asks happily, confused.
