Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"What 'he fuck you want mate?" The Shadow asks, turning to look at Sivius, "Fuck off."

The air guardian looks at Sivius, terror in her eyes as the Shadow doesn't move his knife.

 

Sivius quickdraws his rapier, knocking the knife out of the Shadow's hand as he pulls the Air Guardian out of its trajectory.
"I could ask you the same thing." He says, hand on the rag covering his broadsword. "Why're you messing with her?"

 

The Shadow desperately tries to catch his knife, before simply picking it up.

"She got coin, aight? Some 'fus don't 'ave that." The Shadow says, holding his knife ready.

The air guardian quickly hides behind Sivius, shaking.

 

"I have no coin, but I'm not pitiful enough to kill for it." He says, flashing the paradoxium edge at the Shadow.
"You don't need coin to survive, only the guts to be honest. Gets you farther than you're at right now."

 

"Psha, you 'onestly think 'onesty will put food on me plate? Huh? giv me a fancy new 'ouse so I don't have to live on these streets?" The Shadow asks, hardly intimidated, "That girl probably stole 'er coin anyway. Damn guardians need to get outta this realm 'an stick to their own!"

 

"Honesty has given me power to slay gods. Besides, look where your way of life has gotten you. It doesn't make there be food on your table or get you a house."

 

"Yea, sure. Fuck off, mate, and come back when you've lived my life, eh?" The Shadow says, clearly fed up with Sivius.

 

Sivius' eyes slightly glow twilight.
"You'd even be shunned by the forgotten." He says flatly, checking for the Air Guardian.

 

The air guardian is still behind Sivius, shaking as she gives him a nervous look, fear in her eyes.

"You what mate?" The Shadow asks, confused.

 

"Go to the palace, guardian. Make haste. The shadow cannot catch you if you leave now." He says, sheathing his rapier.

 

"W-Will they p-permit me to enter?" The air guardian asks nervously.

"Hey, she ain't going nowhere!" The Shadow says, advancing with his knife.

 

"Tell them Siv sent you." He says, holding his ground as his claws get infused with twilight.

 

The air guardian runs, and the Shadow tries to chase after her.

 

Sivius' twilight claws block the shadow's passage and prevent him from shadow travelling.
"Forget it." He grunts.

 

The Shadow turns his attention to Sivius, annoyed, attempting a quick slice at his throat.

 

Sivius' rapier blocks the cut, and he kicks the shadow backwards before turning to leave.

 

The Shadow falls to the ground, before picking himself up shortly after.

"Where the bloody 'ell do you think you're going you bastard!?" The Shadow asks angrily.

 

"Wherever they take me." He says, walking off.

 

The Shadow runs up to Sivius, attempting to stab him in the back.

 

Sivius trips him using his tail, continuing on.
The knife bounces off his robe without cutting a thread.
